Did NOT Disappoint! Ive been meaning to get in this place for a while now and I finally caught em while they were open. Short on time and almost out of lunch options. I drove by and seen that Emma's was open. So I thought ribs are always an acceptable option in my world so let me see what Emma's is about... As I walked in I was kindly greeted by an nice lady (not sure if she was Emma or not) but she reminded me of My Grandmother a bit. I placed my order and I assume for several reasons (covid, space, staffing) there was no dine inside option. But there were a few picnic tables out front yet it was too brisk for me to sit and dine plus I had to get back to work. I ordered the RIB DINNER with Mac and Cheese, Potato salad, and a Strawberry Lemonade. They kindly bought my freshly prepared meal out to my vehicle...and BABYYY BYEEEE! I hit the ribs first because they were the star of the show...first taste with No sauce OMG! it's tender, juicy, generously seasoned, and smoked to perfection! Then I hit it with the mild sauce OMG It's falling off the bone!! Potato Salad on point! Not watery, not mashed potato salad with mushy potatoes, got all the right fixins and seasoning. And next up some RESPECTABLE Mac and Cheese! You know the old fashioned kind not the new age craft Mac n cheese sauced consistency (no disrespect some of them are good but No)...This was the one where you still see that cheese pull and noodles seasoned like somebody cared. It's not the best in my life because I leave that to my Momma but it's close enough and as I said RESPECTABLE! And Lastly the Strawberry Lemonade fresh strawberry pulp a nice amount of sweetness and a lil pinch from the lemon to make ya close ya eyes like somebody kissed ya. Idk how the rest of the food taste but this was definitely a great start and good enough to get my attention to write y'all this novel on my experience unsolicitedly😜😜😜...I just had to give these folks their flowers! Keep it going Emma's and keep it consistent! You have won me...

My king and I are so excited to be able to be blessed with two pulled pork sandwiches with potato salad
While waiting on our food patiently we were just commenting on how adorable kayla is. Her customer service is outstanding because let's face it. A lot of customer service nowadays is trash.
She was very bubbly and insightful. And I think one of our favorite parts was the way she said "Granny!!"
So a super beautiful thing was when Kayla came out to bring our food. She was just so precious from head to toe. And she has a glow that excludes a light from her soul
We exchange some dialogue and told her that we really appreciate her and Granny For the service and now we can say the good food because we are in the car tearing it up.
I can't believe that I heard that discomforting comment come from her mouth afterward. We basically called her a Queen and seeing her, such as that. By just saying please and thank you while ordering me and that we appreciate her!! She lit up like an award-winning smile by Viola. Davis, we just adore her. And it's sad that people don't appreciate them with a simple turn of thank you or how about a tip?...
She kept rewinding. You don't have to do that and he said we exactly have to do this!! If my money wasn't that funny, I would've given more but hey, I know how to cruise back down Rainier with my Bae and come for another trip.
Straight like that.
Come and get you some comfort food you will not be disappointed!
God Bless...
Read moreThe service is great and the vibe is very much what I’d expect for southern comfort food, but the meal left a lot to be desired. I’ve never had brisket that my fork couldn’t easily pierce or that took so much effort to chew. The hot links had more of a consistency like hotdogs than a typical sausage link I’m used to in bbq. The yams were classic and good, though a bit too watery for me. And the beans were out of the can beans. The hot bbq sauce had 0 kick to it, so I’m not sure if they just gave me the wrong one or not. The cornbread was standard cornbread, but could have been more moist. Definitely not worth the $30 I paid, but at least the portions were more substantial than other bbq I’ve had here in the PNW. Maybe today was an off day for the food, but however they cook their brisket is not a southern style I’m familiar with,...
