Absolute Perfection. Stunning Scenery, Vegan Options, & Spicy Margaritas; The Combo is Priceless! Maybe My New Favorite Place On The Planet! I love the Verde margarita, with a chili rim, of course. I also love the Watermelon margarita made spicy. Sometimes, I will combine the two in a messy display of "You can take the girl out of Texas..." In honor of the Texas staple Whataburger (which we weirdly call Waterburger?), I'll call it the WhataVerde Margarita or WhataRita for short. Don't miss it! Ordering through a QR code is a little different, and my initial instinct was to avoid communicating with the staff. Eventually, I found the staff very helpful and completely open to communication. It's actually really nice to be able to just sit down and order what you want right away. Being able to order your second drink in an instant without having to wait for a server is really nice, and anytime I want to ask a question or add a little side of sauce, they are always very helpful! I have never had any issues with my vegan food coming out wrong, but I'm sure when it's busy, mistakes can be made. Definitely give this place a try, and don't be afraid to let them know what you need.

First time visit. We stumbled onto the Little Water Cantina as we were trying to leave Seattle, after a trip. Just got turned around a bit. Happened in at Lunch time. Almost the first customers. Menu via QR code. Table service by host. Ordering was done via our server. Sat on the covered patio, which has mostly picnic bench style seating. Service was very good. We ordered a beef barbacoa burrito and two grilled fish tacos with rice and beans, along with chips, salsa and guacamole. We didn't have to wait long for the food to arrive. The burrito was wrapped in foil and served with a lemon wedge and a bit of salsa. The tacos, rice and beans were plated well and of decent portion size. A couple things didn't quite meet our expectations. The rice and beans were barely warm and the rice was not very flavorful. Also, the chips and salsa are not complimentary. I can say I enjoyed the burrito very much. This lunch for two was $60 before tip. In spite of the shortcomings, the atmosphere (patio overlooking Lake Union and several marinas) and the restaurant's decor are favorable. And, the tacos, burrito, chips, salsa and guacamole were very good, in my opinion.

So, I’m gonna be completely honest. The food was good, but it was so not worth the money. It tasted great, but this was not a $100 meal BEFORE TIP. So let’s start with the Margarita, if I pay $16 for a margarita I expect a HUGE GLASS and this tiny thing was all I got… As for the queso, it was pretty tasty, but they were cheap on the chips. I expect enough for the queso and there just weren’t enough. For the chimichanga, that was only thing full worth the money. The chicken was delicious and flavorful. That mole was fantastic and that comes from a Mexican girl who grew up eating it from my grandma. Parking is shitty, they only have about a dozen spots in the park garage below and there’s no street parking. The view is nice, but it is very disconnected from the lake. Just go somewhere further down the hill to enjoy the water. The weirdest part was expecting at least an 18% tip on the bill and all they did was bring us our food. We sat ourselves, we ordered ourselves (no recommendations from staff), and there was no check-ins from staff. I’ve had better service at a fast food restaurant. Anyway, I definitely won’t be back and don’t recommend.

Slow service, small menu, unprofessional staff. I have been here for an hour and a half. The first 15 minutes were spent sitting and waiting for a server who never stopped by to even say "I'll be with you in a moment" The next 25 minutes after our order was taken was spent waiting for our drinks. When my sprite came, it was completely flat. I got the attention of an employee, I mentioned their soda machine might be down because there were no bubbles, she said "well we dont have a soda machine we use cans" I dont know if she expected me to change my mind and drink my flat soda? She then purposely brought a can out and poured the drink in front of me. We are now an hour and a half in, and still have no food. The staff is walking around in street clothes, one in a dress so short, that when the breeze comes we get a full view. I've never been to a mexican restaurant that charges for chips and salsa, much less an additional $.50 for extra chips. This is absolute insanity. The view is great, and the free parking is a nice surprise. If you have time to sit and wait then this is your place. Update: our food came and it was terrible. I ordered the crane asada tacos, the steak tasted like it was steak bites from a can. The "cantina beans" were plain black beans (also most likely from a ca. Our checks came, 2 others in our group had ordered chips and salsa, I checked my bill after reading some of the reviews and they tried charging me for chips and salsa. I let the waiter know rc hat we only had 2 of them, he started at me and said "but you had chips and dip?" I pointed to the table and said "no, there are only 2 bowls" he still didnt catch on. I had to slowly explain and point to each person saying "they ordered chips, she ordered chips, I did not" $30 for a 2 small tacos, beans and rice, a corn on the cob appetizer and a $4 can of soda....

The location and free parking were great! That’s where great ends. The bar scene and bartender was ok, smiley and attentive. However, we sat down just as another party was leaving and the bar wasn’t wiped down. There were no napkins or coasters at the bar so, the bar was wet and uninviting. Once our table was ready, service was slow. After being seated, it took 15 minutes for them to take our order. We had ordered chips and salsa but, they never arrived. I ordered the Boar Torta and was informed that they had run out of bread, not a big deal because I didn’t want the bread anyway. Everyone else ordered and 20 minutes later, the waitress stops by to inform me that in addition to the bread, they were out of the Boar (which happens to be a very important component to what I ordered. She offered to substitute carnitas and I said that would be ok. 5 minutes later, our food was delivered by a manager. This manager completely through the waitress under the bus and said that the waitress should’ve known they were out of boar. She took no responsibility. Also, the carnitas were prepared as tacos. I told the manager that it was ok, I would just remove the tortillas, she told me, “the carnitas are like boar, it’s still pig.” I don’t know how she read into my words that I needed that explanation. As the manger left our table she asked, “Can we get you a drink?” This is what one would expect a manager to do when a restaurant messes up an order. So, accepted the drink but sadly, it was on us not the restaurant. To top off my meal, the carnitas were dry. The other food was just ok. Certainly no reason to go back. The price point was what you’d expect to pay at a higher end establishment and the staff needs training from the top down. Too bad, nice location...

I understand technology helps but to refuse personal table-side service compared to using a QR code to order detracts from the personal experience and ability to make personalized requests. Our request was denied and then I was told he could do it for me on my phone if I didn’t understand to which I said it’s not lack of understanding, it’s lack of wanting to share my personal info in a public place without security. I couldn’t order a personalized drink as there was NO custom options for ordering. So I had to order what they had on the basic list instead of ordering what I wanted. It took me 39 minutes to get water and to finally figure out how to get a drink ordered. That entire 39 minutes we were ignored. I even waved him over for help. This is awful customer service. They just said if you want to order personally we can go inside and order there. Whaaat???? You’re going to make me get up, go inside, to a cash register like it’s McDonald’s and then you’ll bring me my food? There was no service besides walking my food 50 ft to me. I did everything. Then you want to force me to give an 18%, 20%, or a 25% tip with no ability to customize the tip??? 😂 Yeah, their “customize” tip is highlighted but does nothing when you click it. So $0 dollar tip for him. The whole ordering experience was so awful that I won’t go back. Why couldn’t the waiter just take our order and ring it up himself? That’s a service. Too bad—the food was pretty good and worth going to but I will...
