If I could give negative stars I would. After working for small businesses most of my life, I always strive to support these guys. I placed an order for flowers to be delivered with a full weeks notice. By no means was the bouquet cheap. There were 3 selections for sizes. Standard, Deluxe, and Premium. I opted for the biggest bouquet, Premium. What I received looked nothing like the photo and was just sad. I immediately called the store and spoke with Vivian? Whom I think is the owner. At first she offered to have the driver pick them up and offered a full refund. To which I didn't at first want to do, I had hoped for some sort of compensation as I didn't want the recipient to be empty handed. Talk about embarrassing. Which is when she then offered a $20 refund and for MYSELF to return the flowers to the shop in Seattle. For real?! Who does that?! I then asked why she was offering this as "compensation". To which she said, "well we have been talking for 15minutes and the delivery guy is too far away now." W.T.F. I at this point checked the call and it had only been 10 minutes.....After correcting her, she asked me to count the stems of each flower type to ensure quality control......... Yes the counts were correct, but, can you honestly look at the photos and tell me this is right? No, you can't. After a few more minutes of arguing with me, she went back to her original offer of refunding the flowers but not the delivery fee. My office has ordered one other time from her and had no issues, so I am very disappointed that my expectations were not met for quality and customer service. I will not be ordering from The...
Read moreI received my Valentine's Day flowers today (on V Day) at......9:10pm, despite the fact that they were ordered yesterday before 5pm. The person who ordered them called several times between 6 and the delivery time to find out where they were, was told it was going to be a few minutes, and then we waited another hour. The flowers I received look like they have been dug up out of a left over bin, both wilting and missing several components. The balloon that was ordered did not show up at all. The card in the flowers was written out by a hurried hand, messy and hardly readable. The vase was unbelievably tacky and cheap looking. A $70+ order looked like it was gotten from a dying garden at grandma's house. On top of it, the delivery person said he wasn't given a balloon but he would go to the truck and get one. Needlessly said, he never came back. When we called to complain, we were told that they can come and pick up the flowers for a full refund (at 10pm on Valentine's Day, really??) or we could settle for 1/2 off. After several minutes of defensive excuses, we were told that they the flowers provided were "substitutions". While the receipt does says substitutions could occur if the flowers are not available, they are supposed to be of equal value. "Equal value" did not happen either. All in all, horrible experience that made me want to cry. Will never...
Read moreWhen we needed to order some sympathy flowers I convinced my husband to stay local to the delivery address and not use a flower service like 1800 flowers. We are in California so we called ordered flowers for delivery for Saturday. We had the mailbox address, which was our fault, but when my husband called to ask if the flowers had been delivered, he was told yes (we never received any communication like he does from the other services, or a heads up that they went to a mail box store). We figured we were out the $80 and called to duplicate the order with the correct address. When my husband asked him to hold on a second so he could grab the phone number for delivery(which they had for the first one and never used), the guy actually muttered 'Jesus Christ' and huffed into the phone. We proceeded to order another bouquet anyway and paid the $80 again. A few hours later we called back because the first bouquet was finally located by the recipient (she'd just lost her husband unexpectedly) and the other arrangement had gone out. We made mistakes through the whole process (death will do that to you), but my biggest problem is with the way my husband was treated on the phone, as if he was a bother to the shop person. Forget trying to stay local, we will go back to online floral deliveries....lesson learned. Terrible customer service anyday, especially under the...
