🤷‍♀️My sister and I had never been here before. I got here first and I knew she would love it❤️, given the menu and the warm atmosphere. I got drip coffee☕️ which was perfect and a bowl of the lentil soup🥣 with baguette🥖, soup had just been made. The lentil is similar to Turkish lentil, very smooth. She had the spinach pizza, Turkish coffee☕️ and we split the pistachio croissant. Everything was tasty. The Turkish coffee 🍵could use some cardamom, however, imho. Snall corner cafe, right at Linden trail and 130th street. The store had been vacant for over 5 yrs and I was very excited to see that remodeling and cleaning up were in progress. I stopped by 3 or 4 times in february, march met the owner Radia. Finally in april the cafe opened.Radia does all the prep ' work. She makes gluten, dairy free, sugar free ( no fake sugar , just fruits) and vegan dishes on request. I have had the apple/almond cake and the date cake, everythng very fresh and additives free. I came in for breakfast, ordered an ice latte and pistachio honey croissant. I’ll start by saying the croissant was outstanding of this world. The drink more disappointing. They served me a hot latte. I would have just drank it but I made a comment out of surprise for handing me the wrong beverage and she offered to replace my drink. The drink she returned with was extremely watered down. My best guess is rather than remaking the drink, she simply poured my hot latte over ice and returned it to me.
