Stopped by Secret Burger Kitchen in Seattle today, October 16, 2025, around 2:00 PM during my lunch break, and I had a really nice experience overall! The place has a cool, modern vibe and was spotlessly clean from the moment I walked in. You can tell they pay attention to detail when it comes to keeping the restaurant tidy and welcoming. I liked that they have self-ordering stations, there were three of them, and it made the ordering process super easy and efficient. The staff were friendly and helpful, checking in to make sure everything went smoothly and that I had what I needed. The service was fast, and my order came out in good time, which is perfect for a quick lunch break. I ordered the Spicy Chicken Burger, and it was absolutely delicious! The patty was juicy, well-seasoned, and had just the right amount of heat without being overpowering. The bun was soft but held everything together nicely, and all the toppings were fresh and flavorful. You can tell they take pride in crafting their burgers, it really hit the spot. For dessert, I tried the Upside Down Pineapple Cake. It was good, but honestly, just average, nothing particularly special about the flavor or texture. The portion was quite small for the $8 price tag, which made it feel a bit expensive for what you get. The burger, on the other hand, was worth every penny. While I do think the prices are on the higher side, it might make sense given the Seattle location and the quality of ingredients they use. The overall experience, from cleanliness to service to food was very positive, and I left feeling satisfied. I’d definitely come back again to try one of their other smash burgers since the one I had was excellent. It’s a great spot for a quick, tasty lunch with a clean environment and efficient service. Secret Burger Kitchen is definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area and craving a well-made burger!

I will start with the good here. The food was alright, fries were a little soggy, burgers were hot and fresh, and drinks were not refillable. I really enjoyed the Spicy Smash. It had great flavors with the grilled peppers. My daughter said the Signature Smash was really delicious as well. The sizes of the burger and fries were just right. The prices were not bad for being in Seattle. I wish they would have included the fountain drinks into the combo even if they bumped the price of the combos $2-3. Now for the other stuff. The shake was just a basic frozen milk style of milkshake with 1/4 cup of fruity pebbles dumped on the top. It was a good "basic" shake but nowhere near worth the $7.00. They had signs on the street saying to come join them for their community event that day we were there. The front of the store was filled with what looked to be the store management staff and possibly the owners (ones wearing suits) it made it hard to move around inside the restaurant. They were not mindful of the customers that were there trying to dine in. I had to ask multiple times for them to move so we could get past to sit at a table. While there eating I noticed that people would come in to order and would be greated by a manager (assumption here) and shown the kiosk ordering system and shown to sign up for their drawing they were doing. Sadly, the really odd thing about this process was that they would only do this with younger adult guests. If the guest had kids, they would totally ignore them. (This was the same treatment I received when my teenage daughter and I entered). I saw this happen at least 3 times in the 30 minutes we were there. It's like we were not the demographic the store wanted. I will say I would go back for the food if I was in the area, but I would not go out of my way again to visit this location.

Smash burger fans, this is your next stop.

🍔 I had the Signature Bacon 1/3 LB Smash Burger with Cheese & Fries, and WOW—juicy, crispy, cheesy perfection. That thick bacon + their mouthwatering secret sauce + seasoned smash patty = next level delicious. Every bite? Absolute perfection. Also tried the Fried Chicken Filet Sandwich (massive, crunchy, and flavorful!) and their Spicy Buffalo Wings—juicy, tender, and packing just the right heat.

🍟 The fries? Seasoned, Crispy and golden, just how I like them. Generous portions with the burger and you get more with the wings too.

🌶️ If you love spice, their habanero and serrano pepper burgers will set your taste buds on 🔥. Watching carbs? Their burger bowls are a win—gluten-free and bun-free options available. They even have great vegetarian picks —so there’s truly something for everyone!

🥤 Oh and my favorite was their Chocolate Bars Shake (yes, with Lucky Charms!) and the magical Unicorn Crunch Shake with Fruity Pebbles. Thick, crunchy, creamy—not overly sweet, just right! The perfect spicy burger cool-down right there!

🍰 And of course! Don't skip dessert. They have a pineapple upside down cake and a chocolate lava cake. The chocoholic in me had to get the chocolava cake and it did not disappoint. Perfect level of sweetness served with a dollop of cream. Yum!

✅ Fast service with self-checkout kiosks ✅ Friendly staff & family-friendly (high chairs available!) ✅ Great vibe ✅ Dine-in & takeout options ✅ Street parking nearby ✅ Amazing value for fresh, flavorful food

This place is a Capitol Hill must-try. Whether you're craving bold heat or dreamy milkshake bliss—Secret Burger Kitchen hits the spot....
