Dr Larrabee is a good surgeon and a nice guy. My problem is not with his ability as a surgeon, it is with his clinics inability to appropriately handle a botched upper bleph he gave me 30 years ago. It was actually the 3rd procedure he performed on my eyes that ended up scarring me for life. I was happy with his work on the first 2 but I needed a little more lift to improve my visual field, so he made one more attempt. unfortunately for me, this time he made deep cuts OVER the top of my eye brows which resulted in divits appearing whenever a light shines above me. The cuts also caused me to lose some feeling in my forehead. The effect of what he did can best be summed up by his own clinics reaction to seeing them. I came back a few years after the botched surgery to get the scars filled in as temp relief, and the lady who did intake pics looked at me as if I was just in an accident and said, "do you mind if I ask who did this to you?" I replied sure, your clinic. I stopped going to the Larabee clinic many years ago because I realized they didnt want to fix their mistake but instead wanted to use it as an opportunity to charge me full price to fill in the scars. I saw Dr. Wayne Larrabee today for a consultation for surgery for various issues with my face. I happened to be the last patient of the day, and most doctors would have been tired and obviously want to leave work, not Dr. Larrabee. He took at least an hour to discuss honest and professional options for my issues. Not only is Dr. Larrabee an amazing surgeon with many accolades, but more importantly this is a man that cares about his patient's, and takes his Hippocratic oath seriously. He volunteers his expertise in various parts of the world changing the trajectory of the lives of all he operates on to include babies and children with cleft palate and other issues that Dr. Larrabee fixes.
