This was my favorite bar, but it's under new ownership I think. It's within walking distance of my apartment. I haven't been in some time, but the bartender I knew, with the tattoos was always really welcoming. I must have just offended them. I don't think it's bc I'm trans. (The silent treatment was the same) That wasn't the way it read this time tho.

I think I just offended them by trying to pay per drink. The whole mood changed after I got the check. And I was sitting at the bar, in front of the bartender the entire time. I said "close out, for now" The first drink was great, but when I asked for another one later, a few times, I was ghosted and ignored repeatedly, until finally the bartender made eye contact, asked if I'd like another round, I said yes and nodded. And he picked up a broom and walked away.

I would've kept a tab open, but I have bad ADHD and it lends itself to me forgetting to close out when I'm done. I've forgotten a card overnight too often. Not even just bars. I'm bad about leaving things, period.

I don't know. I just miss the days I'd go in and have a convo with my bartender there, or anyone there for that matter. It's a different vibe now. It's gotten preppier or something. I just.. didn't want to do Pike/Pine and all that tonight. I don't know... I'm...

When you use the word sub, it does not do it justice! This sandwich was an experience! The subtle garlic vinegarette sauce was so good. I had the turkey which sounds basic, but it was anything but. I had a root beer which was amazing, until the people I came with got the rootbeer RUM FLOAT drink and a yummy lemon drop and didnt share🤣. They were beautiful. The athmosphere is fun and chill. I will for sure be coming back when Im in Seattle or the Capital Hill area again from Detroit. The staff was stellar as...

Very neighborhood type bar with a ton of regulars. Most people are friendly and easy to chat with. Decent place for some groups, but more of a place to relax at the bar and have a casual conversation. Also plays most Seattle sports games on the one TV when they're open. The background music is AWESOME. Lots of indie and old school punk music. Diverse crowd and everyone is welcome. Definitely not a hipster joint, although there are a few. Keep your drink...
