The first time I went here I was extremely impressed by the whole snapper dish, mussels and plantain dessert. Today I ordered the sum Tom sald with grilled shrimp. It came with only two shrimp, which were very lightly cooked almost undercooked, not grilled at all. Was disappointed with just two shrimp. I ordered this as Two star spice. The line cook went very heavy with the Thai chilli spice and if it was not for the lime & fish sauce I would not have enjoyed eating it. I don’t like to sweat and scoff my food I like to taste for flavor and enjoyment. So I was disappointed with the regard of spice when two star SHOULD not be that spicy. The shrimp also Seemed to be steamed or sautĂ©ed. My entre was their pad I ordered this with two stars, it came with a lattice of fried egg on top which did not impress me. I simply picked it off. I would have preferred it been mixed in with the tamarind sauce. They give you these inch to half inch cut green onion mixed and in and on side honestly a waste of green onion they should have cut it up more fine & they onion had no flavor. This dish was also very much too spicy for two stars. It’s like the line cook did it purposely to make me not come back because I definitely will not. I had to order peanut sauce on the side to “dial” the spice down. As well as ask for two extra lime. Felt like I wasted my time and money. Great first impression however the blew it tonight. As a person of color I do not ask to have food remade for fear of restaurants doing something to my food thus making me sick. So I respectfully took the pad Thai to go & paid my bill. However I would have preferred not to pay for something I did not enjoy. Please do better regarding consideration for your spice levels. Maybe not smoke during your breaks which can hinder your palate. As a chef I am just disappointed & I live upstairs. Wanted to trust a local business for longevity as I live here however I’ll take my money &...

Authentic and Delicious Thai Food in Seattle – A Must-Visit!

I had the opportunity to visit Kin Dee, a Thai restaurant located on a bright and spacious corner. The decor is charming, clean, and inviting. The warm welcome from the staff, especially Bee, made the experience even more pleasant.

The food truly exceeded expectations. The Tom Yum was packed with flavor—spicy, sour, and slightly sweet—with generous portions of mushrooms that made every spoonful satisfying. The Crispy Pork with Rice was another standout. I appreciated the option of riceberry rice, and the dish was perfectly balanced with sauce and vegetables like cabbage and broccoli.

The highlight of the meal was the Pineapple Fried Rice—honestly, even more flavorful than what I’ve had in Thailand. It was rich, well-seasoned, and filled with sweet, juicy pineapple, crunchy walnuts, and tender chicken. Absolutely delicious!

After the meal, the staff kindly offered dessert, but we were already too full—though I’m sure it would have been amazing as well!

This place truly brings a taste of home for Thai food lovers living abroad. I’m definitely coming back, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Seattle. You won’t be...

We were just looking for something nearby and open at 2pm. We didnt realize we had to walk up the hill, so we were ready for this food. The place looked super modern and trendy. It wasnt empty, with a few people eating. It seemed like most people ordered take out.

We ordered the chicken pad thai, veggie gyoza, and tofu pumpkin curry. The veggie gyoza was steamed and were pretty big. The sauce and salad under tasted pretty good. I probably would not order this again, just to try the other items. The pumpkin curry was really good, especially with the rice (which was also cooked perfectly). The pad thai had a thin egg net on top. The pad thai was a little more creamy than I am used to, but did not affect the taste at all. At the end, the waitress gave us a sticky rice and mango dessert for free as it was their one year anniversary.

While we did share the multiple plates, the portions were definitely perfect for individual plates. We were so full after and extremely happy with the food. We would definitely come back here and try their...
