The young employee at Miller Community Center said reservations for outdoor courts are "not available" and any available indoor revelations must be made through the city's Amy Yee Tennis Center but, with the city apparently allowing one user who has the fastest laptop to reserve all eight pickeball courts i was told that he apparently releases at his discretion to the highest bidder, getting a pickleball court is a crazy free-for-all but, even if the pile of waiting paddles come down to yours, you cannot have a comfortable, relaxing fitness game with your spouse or partner but must play an official 4-person game with the next two, usually very competitive players so, I guess, pickleball is not for us, after all.đŸ˜”

There are two outdoor tennis courts lined for four pickleball courts. There are rolling nets for pickleball and even a squeegee available. The courts aren’t in the best shape but do have the basics with nets. This park also has an amazing playground but this review is just about the courts for pickleball. These courts seem to be used mostly for pickleball and there are lots of players on the courts throughout the week when the weather is nice. 11/2022 Update: these courts were resurfaces. Beautiful now!

4 pickleball courts shared with two tennis courts. There are also lights but they are so close to the residents which may have noise complaints but the vehicles come and go on the streets aren't quiet either

Gotta love pickleball. It's a sport anyone can play, and can usually play competitively with just about anyone. The people are generally very nice, cool and relaxed while still being very focused on the game when present. Courts here are much better now that they have been repaved and the weather is nice again. Only downstairs are that there's already damage in spots on the courts and also sometimes accumulated leaves or water. And it seems to get very crowded at times-sometimes I've passed by in the evenings thinking maybe play for a minute only to see full courts and large waiting crowds, more day send like a good time to play, later afternoon it can be empty tho there sometimes are reservations then. I'm thinking of going all in on this hobby of mine, pickleball, try to start playing and practicing on a more regular basis, hopefully improve game play and whatnot, maybe coach pine day in the future who knows. This was rambley, but meant to be an enthusiastic review, 5 stars and whatnot... Big fan of pickleball, good...

a BALD father and 8-11 ish year old son (caucasian) are very rude at the court. tells other people they’re bad at the game, doesn’t allow people who are seemingly “bad” to stack with them. the dad also said “i don’t want to play with you, period” and moved my paddle to the side without my consent. avoid them! also seemed like nobody wanted to stack with them because even though the stack was long, people rather queue at the back than to queue with them. so it probably happened a few times and probably are known for their notorious behaviour.

wish i had photos but didn’t get it as i was just too stunned to have met with people like that in the pickleball...
