The Cozy Nut Tavern — Restaurant in Seattle

I've only been to this bar one time as when I entered I didn't care for the atmosphere it seemed to fancy didn't have that bar feeling I felt cold and more alone then I already was but decided to at least give it the chance regardless of how I felt when I walked inside the place was pretty busy I was surprised and they have a large selection of different beers and on there menu u can order 5 different flavors on a,wooden board it looked like it was a fun item to order if u were with another person but I was by myself and so I order a Heinekin witch for being kinda of a more beer bar then anything else they didn't serve what I wanted but I did get a heffy beer witch I did enjoy just as much I also looked over there menu as I was very hungry and ended up ordering a cheeseburger that came with there re make on French fries the burgar was very costly 18 bucks way over priced but when ur hungry u don't care what something u order cost I didn't eat the burgar right away as since I wasn't comfortable being in the bar I decided to wait till I got home and by buss I'm only 5 min.away so I saved my 18 dollar burgar till then I stayed for another 15 min or so talk with the bartender he was nice and chatted with me my rating Gos to the bartender as he seemed very happy and nice and when I ask for another beer he was very quick to serve me I tipped him well when I left the bar and got home I was very disappointed with the burgar it was very wet and mushy and had to transfer what I picked off the burgar onto some whole wheat bread I had it was ok but I think when a customer has a to go order the cooks should put all condiments on the side so when the customer decides to eat the burgar it's not all mushy and gross like my burgar was I wouldn't recommend as I Beleave it's way over priced for what ur getting but if u don't mind paying a redicuoulous amount of money for a piece of meat with all the fixings on it then that's up to the person but I just found the bar to be very boring I won't be back but I think they have an awesome staff of employees they were all very nice and friendly...

The first time I went here (about two years ago) I got a cocktail off the menu and it was literally the worst drink I've ever had. I will usually finish a drink even if I don't like it, but this was undrinkable. I asked the bartender if he could adjust it and he was rude and unhelpful. I gave it a second try a year later. There was a different bartender and he made my experience much better. My partner and I started going semi-regularly to enjoy the cozy atmosphere. Flash forward to now. We had stopped going as regularly after an incident with a very drunk guy that bought us multiple unsolicited shots. A friend and I both ordered drinks from the specials menu, a mezcal hibiscus drink and a vodka and campari drink. The server got them mixed up and neither of us even realized it because both drinks were so incomprehensibly bitter. We told the bartender, who said something akin to "Sorry it's not sweet enough for you," which obviously was not the problem we were having with our drinks. He watered the vodka drink down with soda, and even then, it left a chemical bitter film in the back of my throat. I've literally never been anywhere where a drink I ordered was so unpalatable that it crossed the line into being unpotable. I wish the bartender had been more accommodating and less catty, as the general vibe of the bar was otherwise...
