I've been to Thomas Street Warehouse several times over the years on Friday and Saturday night to pregame and/or grab food before going out, but this past Saturday was by far the worst experience yet. My friend and I arrived around 7 PM and were surprised that no one greeted us or checked our IDs at the door. For a Saturday evening, the restaurant only appeared to be about 30% full. We seated ourselves at a booth near the entrance, expecting to be served, but waited 40 minutes with no service. We flagged down a nearby waitress to ask about menus and our server. Instead of checking in or notifying her coworker, she simply handed us menus and said someone should be with us soon - there was no follow-up. Eventually, we went to the bar to order ourselves, where it took another 15 minutes just to get two Inception shots. With all the delays, we decided to skip food and eat elsewhere. The place is loud, and the majority of the tables were dirty. Keep in mind, they also turn up the music as it gets later in the evening. Lastly BEWARE, we noticed a 20% gratuity was automatically added to the bill with no warning. A few months ago, a few of my friends who work in the service industry spoke with the manager to express how off-putting this felt--it came across as sneaky. The manager reluctantly adjusted the bill, but the whole situation left a bad taste. While prices are relatively affordable, the lack of transparency and poor service made this visit a major letdown.

This was a really cool place which was right around the corner from my Hotel I was staying at super convenient. I was told about it from some of the employees but the Hotel I was staying at which I was visiting from Austin, TX. The first night on 7/19 I had the waiter David cool cat a hustler he was working hard and doing his job well. He gave me some good suggestions on what to pick bon the menu which I got lemon pepper wings and the Cesar salad and the Margarita with the Corona in it which was cool!! Then I came back on Sunday 7/21 and I ended bup getting David again and he was great on this night the staff was very short and he was the only guy serving but again he did a really good job. So on this night I had the Cajun chicken sandwich which was pretty good and I got the same margarita with the Corona in it and the donut holes for dessert which was very good hot and fresh!! Next time I am back in Seattle I will be back to this spot for sure super convenient and they stay open till 2am which I like a lot as well since I am a night person. The security guy was cool too as well I would definitely give this place a try for sure for anyone is looking for food vibe good music and eating outside as well which I chose to do both nights I went nice and cool weather it's Seattle!!

Wow. What more could you want? Seriously. Perfect restaurant. Now mind you, I'm spoiled. I'm from NYC. If I want the best food in the world, all I need to do is put a blind fold and walk in any direction for 5 seconds. Or, at least, that's what I thought before walking into The Warehouse. Now I know the truth: If I want the best food in the world, I'm gonna have to take a five and a half hour flight. I'm not exaggerating. It's worth it. I've been to many great places and I've never been smacked in the mouth as consistently as I was during my visit to The Warehouse. Every bite was a preview of what heaven has to offer. And I haven't even gotten to the staff. Yeah, the place has a gruff atmosphere to it. And no, it's not a coat of paint. That toughness is earned. You can feel it because despite everything, the staff is still showing up with passion in their hearts. Nothing in the world can stop them from giving you the best. They're gruff because they ain't backing down. Thank you to everyone here, especially my waiter Sicily. This was definitely a highlight of my trip to Seattle and a highlight in my life. I will be coming back and I WILL be bringing hungry friends. So prepare yourself, Warehouse.

Disappointing Customer Experience at Thomas Street Warehouse

I recently visited the Thomas Street Warehouse on 06/20/2024 for the PM closing shift and unfortunately had an extremely poor customer experience at Bar 1 in the front. The white bartender wearing a black baseball cap provided me with the worst service I have ever encountered.

The bartender's demeanor was rude, unprofessional, and overall disrespectful. His service was slow, forgetful, and he displayed a level of arrogance that was off-putting. Despite my efforts to place an order, it was forgotten multiple times. When I inquired about my order, the bartender responded dismissively with, "So you want to go to the back of the line?" This response was inappropriate given the circumstances, as I had been overlooked multiple times due to his lack of awareness.

As someone who manages a customer service retail location myself, I am deeply disappointed by the behavior displayed by this bartender. It is evident that his attitude and actions are detrimental to the overall customer experience at Thomas Street Warehouse. Due to this negative encounter, I found myself spending significantly less than I had originally intended, as the hassle and poor service deterred me from fully enjoying my visit.

I believe that individuals like this bartender should not represent the face of any establishment, as they can severely impact customer satisfaction and loyalty. I am committed to sharing my disappointing experience with everyone I know and will not be recommending Thomas Street Warehouse to others until improvements are made in customer service. Other staff members also told me that black cap could be very difficult to work with!

I plan to reach out to the management of Thomas Street Warehouse to bring attention to this issue and hope that steps will be taken to address the unacceptable behavior exhibited by the bartender. Customers deserve to feel valued and respected, and it is essential that all staff members uphold these standards to ensure a positive and welcoming environment for patrons.

If I do ever return. I will avoid the bartender with the piss poor attitude that cannot handle his duties and let’s stress affect his attitude...

Absolutely terrible, awful service, rude staff, complete shambles.

We went to try Thomas Street with some friends as we had been wanting to try it since it opened. What a mistake!

Being pregnant and it being a hot day it would be been great to have some water. However after going up to the bar 3 times, and trying to order with a server to no avail, Adam the manager came over to take our order. This took around 25 minutes.

Adam took our order, we asked for a happy hour beer, and three non-alcoholic beverages, as well as two starters (with the bacon removed).

After again visiting the bar for 20 minutes, our drinks arrived around the 45 minute mark. No sign of the food.

Meanwhile all the tables around us were being served without issue.

When I politely asked the waitress 'Sascha' where the food was all I got was a 'we're busy' and she flicked her hair at me! Such a terrible attitude I later found out she had also been rude to the table, here we started to lose patience.

We then asked for the manager Adam AGAIN (time on the clock, 55 minutes... remember this was for 4 drinks and 2 plates of food)

While waiting for Adam the food arrives. They could not even get this right and one of the dishes had bacon on!

He was full of excuses, and asked if we wanted a round of drinks or something. After another 10 minutes we walked out. As we were walking out he was coming towards us with our drinks. That order was wrong.

As a side note: we were a table of immigrants, all the American tables had no issues with their orders yet we were treated like scum. Having read the other reviews I feel this was not an isolated issue. It's 2019. We should not be treated this way.

Worst restaurant in South Lake Union, do not go! Re:public is...

My coworker and I came in for lunch today Saturday November 12, 2022 at 12:50pm or so. We usually get great and quick service when we come to Thomas Street Warehouse. Today, our server was Alex. It wasn't so busy inside so we thought that services will be the same as usual since we are on a timed lunch hour. After we walked in, we were told to sit where we wanted and decided to sit at a booth on the far end of the left side from the host stand. It took a good amount of time before we were acknowledged and even had other people come in and sit after us. Although we did in fact arrive before the other table of women, we were greeted after. Not only that, we had to wait about 15 minutes for our Strawberry Lemonades. After this, we continued to wait for our food. By about 1:40pm, we knew we were not going to get our food in time to enjoy it at the restaurant so we requested it for take-out. Since we continued to wait, we got up and headed to the host stand. It was here were Alex told us our food was on the plates so it needed to be packed for take out. Not even a sorry or anything regarding the wait. We also were asked to pay for our food at this point so we did. It took another 10 minutes before we got our food packed up which we found odd since our food was supposed to be all ready to go on plates. I've never had a horrible experience like this. All times I've come to Thomas Street Warehouse have been great experiences so I'm not too sure what happened today since it seemed to be like any other day. Definitely changed my thoughts about how service is here. I do request that I get my money back since the service was terrible and by the time I got to take a bite, my...
