Valhalla Sandwiches is a "chain" of sandwich shops with a few locations scattered around the Seattle area. They make very obscure and interesting sandwich combinations that work very well. This location is in Greenwood right up from the main corner at 85th. Parking around here is relatively easy, and they have a bunch of tables outside and inside as well. Their menu isn't massive, but they have a lot of different tastes to try. Their portion sizes are a bit small for the price, but once again, the taste is there. For instance, I wish there was more turkey and less stuffing on the Thanksgiving sandwich, or more jam on the PB&J because it's a bit dry, or the sweet potato tots being undercooked and way too soft. The staff is great here, very friendly and talkative. Overall a solid place and family friendly.

I say skip! I was very excited to try this based off the photos and reviews but I was heavily disappointed! The place was clean and looks like a sandwich shop, but the sandwiches are not even good. Tried the Shrimp Po MoFo and it was just overwhelming with too many flavors. The recipe is probably good on a taco but they add their special sauce and it makes it almost inedible. Also tried the roasted chicken sandwich with special sauce and it was at best... Panera level. This place has bad service and mediocre decor with a terrible name. It's also overpriced for the quality, service and creativity of the sandwiches.

My husband and I each had sandwiches for lunch. I ordered the sliced chicken that was served on a telera roll with grilled onions and red peppers, bacon, arugula, and rosemary aioli sauce (left off gorgonzola cheese). Stephen had the reuben/pastrami sandwich served on a marbled rye with sauerkraut and swiss cheese, and thousand island dressing. We also order a side of "tater tots" with the rosemary aioli sauce. Not beer drinkers, but worth mentioning that they have an assortment on tap. Sandwiches were delicious and well worth the price. Covered outside seating available.

i like a creamy slaw (as opposed to a vinegar based one), but i despise ones that dump a bunch of mayo for no good reason. The slaw here is the PERFECT amount of creaminess!!! i am so happy because i feel like its so easy to mess up. the bread of the sandwich is also excellent. i was skeptical at first because i havent really had a telera roll (?) before but it complemented the ingredients of the sandwich perfectly. i feel that every ingredient of my meal was carefully chosen and the sandwich was constructed very intentionally. will definitely come back

I got sandwiches for a work event and my work devoured the sandwiches! From the start of ordering online from picking them up to eating them the process was very smooth. You get a variety of sandwiches within their catering box and you can pick and choose. I let them pick the flavors and it was the right amount of each sandwich. The turkey was my favorite and others said the ham and cheese was the best. They also have outside seating with lots of tables and the inside is super cute. I highly recommend them for a quick catering service!
