Haute Dulce â A Refined CafĂŠ Experience Worth Savoring
Haute Dulce is truly a hidden gem for anyone who appreciates desserts as a form of art. From the moment you walk in, youâre welcomed by a chic, modern ambiance and the warm, sweet aroma of freshly baked creations. The attention to detail â in both flavor and presentation â is genuinely unmatched.
The staff is friendly, attentive, and well-versed in the ingredients and inspiration behind each dish. You can tell they take real pride in what they serve.
Hereâs what we tried: ⢠Pancake (Banana & Walnuts): Fluffy, buttery stacks topped with caramelized bananas and crunchy walnuts. The cinnamon-infused maple syrup elevated this beyond your typical pancake. ⢠Avocado Toast: Thick-cut sourdough piled with creamy avocado, radish slices, and chili flakes. Although the poached egg was missing (likely a kitchen oversight), the toast was still fresh and satisfying. ⢠Omelette (Mushrooms): Light and silky eggs folded around sautĂŠed wild mushrooms and herbs. Simple and well-prepared â though a touch of cheese or truffle oil would have added extra richness. ⢠Knafeh: The surprise standout! A beautiful balance of crispy shredded phyllo, gooey sweet cheese, and fragrant rosewater syrup. Crunchy, decadent, and utterly memorable. ⢠French Toast: Brioche soaked in vanilla custard, topped with fresh berries and powdered sugar. Rich and indulgent, though the syrup pooling at the bottom made it a little soggy over time.
Drinks: ⢠Pistachio Latte: Creamy, nutty, and perfectly balanced. Topped with crushed pistachios â a must-try. ⢠Rose Matcha: Visually stunning. Delicate but the rose slightly overpowered the matcha. Good for a one-time experience. ⢠Strawberry Refresher: Light, fizzy, and fruity. A great palate cleanser to balance the richness of the food. ⢠Mango Mojito (Mocktail): Fresh mango purĂŠe with mint and lime. Refreshing but couldâve used a bit more...

Pancake (Banana & Walnuts) â Fluffy, buttery stacks with caramelized bananas and crunchy walnuts. The maple syrup was infused with a hint of cinnamonâelevated beyond basic pancakes. Avocado Toast â Thick sourdough piled high with creamy avocado, radish slices, and chili flakes. Missing the promised poached egg (kitchen oversight), but still fresh and satisfying. Omelette (Mushrooms) â Silky eggs stuffed with sautĂŠed wild mushrooms and herbs. Simple but well-executedâcouldâve used cheese or truffle oil for extra luxury. Knafeh â A surprise star! Crispy shredded phyllo, gooey sweet cheese, and rosewater syrup. Perfect balance of crunchy and decadent. French Toast â Brioche soaked in vanilla custard, topped with berries and powdered sugar. Rich and indulgent, though the syrup pooled at the bottom made it soggy over time.
Drinks: Pistachio Latte â Nutty, fragrant, and not overly sweet. Topped with crushed pistachiosâwould order again! Rose Matcha â Floral and earthy, but the rose overpowered the matcha. Pretty to look at, though. Strawberry Refresher â Light, fizzy, and fruity. Ideal for cutting through the richness of the dishes. Mango Mojito (Mocktail) â Fresh mango purĂŠe with mint and lime. Refreshing, but needed more tang.
Must-try: The knafeh and pistachio latte were unforgettable. Aesthetic: Every dish was photogenicâtrue to Haute Dulceâs reputation. Portions: Generous

Read moreI visited this cafÊ yesterday and had a Strawberry Matcha that was so good I decided to come back today and grab another one before work. Since I was on a time crunch, I placed a pick-up order on Uber Eats before leaving my house (about 20 minutes away) so it would be ready when I arrived.
When I got there, my drink wasnât on the counter, so I went to the register and let the young man know I had an order for a Strawberry Matcha pick-up. He said heâd check, so I waited by the counter. Meanwhile, I saw the barista making drinks for people who had just walked in, so I assumed mine was still coming. After about 10 minutes of waiting, the Barista asked if I was ready to order, that i had to go to the other counter, and I explained again that I had already placed a pick-up order through Uber Eats over 30 minutes ago. He told me it had only been five minutes, and when I clarified it was on Uber Eats, he finally went to check.
I ended up waiting another 10 minutes while drinks for walk-in customers continued to be made ahead of mine. Eventually, a sweet young girl made my drink (she was very kind), but by that point, I had waited close to 45 mins total for one drink.
I understand this is a new cafĂŠâitâs beautiful, and my experience yesterday was greatâbut if online orders through Uber Eats canât be handled alongside in-store orders, it might be better to pause or turn off online ordering during busy times. It honestly would have been faster to just walk in and...
