The service in this place is pathetic…. The person working in the front has a very bad attitude and no idea of what hospitality means… We walked in on 10:15pm on Saturday night. He mentioned that the kitchen closes at 10:30pm. We said ok and ordered everything in one go…. The person started cribbing after 10:40. He said that the place closes at 10:30, not just the kitchen. We asked him to look at times on Google. It is 11pm. This person went on to turn off ac and lights. We were sitting with kids. Hence we packed and left. Extremely disrespectful and shameless act. When I tried to reason with the person, he said you guys did not even clean place. I told him we picked our plates and put the tray on the trash bin…. We realized there is no point reasoning with him…. This person has no idea of what customer service is and how to treat guests… He served us food as if he was doing a favour on us…. if we would have waited any further, we were sure this person would have reasoned with us to clean the dishes and...

I hate leaving negative reviews, but I had to do it after my experience today. It seems like they need someone who is in a better mood and can deal with customers at the front because the gentleman there was in a bad mood since the start. I asked him for a regular lamb platter but to separate the lettuce portion of it so that I could reheat the rice and lamb later, instead he charged me an extra $5 for the salad because I wanted it in a separate container … then he didn’t want to print me out a receipt because he knew he did the wrong thing. I tried to explain to him that he didn’t do things correctly and he didn’t offer any solutions even after I tipped him. I probably shouldn’t have tipped him. Stopped in to pick up some lunch on a Sunday 1:30. I didn't get good vibes because 1. There were no other customers there 2. It was an 80 degree day and the AC wasn't on, so who knows if the food handling is safe. Decided to go against my gut and order anyway, and the food was actually pretty good (albeit salty), and we didn't get food poisoning (YAY!) I had a lamb gyro (comes with fries), and my BF had the lamb platter. Both came with a considerable amount of meat. They also have different specials each day. On Sundays, it's $1 off platters/meals so make sure you ask about it before you pay or else they won't deduct it.

Is this the best Halal food ever? No. Will it do the trick if you're craving it? Yes, but just be sure to have plenty of water at hand for...
