Bartender was pleasant and accommodating. Food came out quickly and was very good. Server's were NOT practicing safe food practices AT ALL! very unnerving. Also, an employee who was not on schedule was at the bar controlling the remote. Would not stop LOUDLY sniffing, had 3 different mixed cocktails in a very short amount of time. Clearly inebriated. The table side guacamole cart came out to a table behind us and looked disgusting. A sever was eating orange slices with his hands out of the bar garnish tray, a waitress came out of the kitchen chewing a mouthfuls of food. A woman with a blue gray button down (possible manager) came from the kitchen with a bag of skittles. She opened a large silver vessel with a big silver top sitting at the bar, stuck her arm in and pulled our something she put in her mouth and ate sticking her fore finger and thumb completely in her mouth. We will NOT be back. Also, the decor wad all over the map. So many completely different art genres....

Our first visit to this place and it was very nice. We were quickly seated and brought chips and salsa. We were then asked if we wished for fresh guacamole, which we did. A waiter came to ask for our drink preferences and he returned quickly with them. We munched on the chips and guac while looking at the menu with plenty of offerings! Our food also was served in a quick and polite manner. Very tasty and hot .We had plenty to take home. We decided to try the fried ice cream. Delicious but we thought there should be a thicker crust. Clean and easily accessible rest rooms at the back of the restaurant. Mexican music was playing in the background and there were decorations , as the next day was Cinco de Mayo. There is plenty of parking, including handicapped. The walk to the front door was pretty but bunpy with a walker. $56.00 for 2 adults. There was plenty of alcohol drinks but we didn't partake of any. Hope you have a good time...

Going here with my wife was a spur of the moment decision, we arrived around 7:25 and were seated right away. The booth they sat us at the waitress told me to watch my head as the light that would normally be over the center of the table was actually right over my head, weird because there was plenty of other booths they could have sat us at. Service was also very slow, we ordered a drink right after being seated and it took roughly 15-20 minutes for the waitress to come back with our drinks, she did apologize for the wait. She never checked back in after we received our food (the food was nothing special, not bad but nothing special) so i never got to order another drink. After we finished eating and still no sign of the waitress i took my atm card and went and found her to tell her we were all set, the whole experience was over an hour and a half! So to sum it up, food was nothing special and the service was the slowest I've ever...

We ate at Plaza Mexico when we were visiting Seekonk RI. It was one of the best , and most memorable Mexican meals ever! I had Hawaiian Fajitas. You have to check out the amazing spread in the pictures below. A mix of shrimp, chicken, beef, veggies and pineapple. Unreal! Soo good. The drink offerings were very special and delicious. Had a kiwi strawberry margarita that was my favorite ever. The glasses and dishware was so colorful and special. Plates were brimmed with delicious fresh brilliantly seasoned Mexican food. Delicious fresh chips and salsa were being delivered just as we were being seated. Al did was in the table as soon as salsa chips were gone. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful, complete with a statuesque lit up tequila tree!! Very celebratory atmosphere. You absolutely have to try Plaza Mexico. I wish it was near my hometown area!

The pineapple fajita was a delicious surprise! Earned the 4 stars. The steak and chicken fajita was tasty. The rice and beans and corn tortillas were pretty standard though. The tomatoes with that fajita dish were pretty plain- not pico de gallo. The drinks and the service were good! Chips and salsa are offered to each table- I was not impressed by the chips, the salsa was ok- not chunky at all, it had a runny consistency- pretty mild. We were there on a Thursday night - we enjoyed the live mariachi which visited tables for tips. They belted out 2 songs for us. There is a separate bar area and 3 to 4 separate areas with tables and booths. We enjoyed the merengue and bachata music that was playing when the mariachi was not performing.

I go to a lot of Mexican restaurants so this will be in comparison- the inside is probably one of the nicest I've been to. The waiter was nice and attentive. For the price- the portions are on the smaller side (the picture is the 2nd plate I got, the first one had an issue but the first chimichangas were HALF the size of the one in the pic) no rice, just thin layer of beans which all Mexican restaurants I've been to have both good serving of rice and beans (this was also dinner not lunch portion) this was $16 My husband got a quesadilla for $19 * Not meaning to sound whiny just explaining my experience- I'll still come back, maybe try something else :)
