I stopped here after a long day of yard work. I always enjoy Coffee Crossing as a treat. I ordered my usual drink. When I got to the window, I paid and tipped with my debit card and the girl started to hand me my order. I politely said, oh can I get whipped cream on that please? She looked very strangely and said, in July we started charging $.35 for whipped cream, and pushed it towards me. I said, oh ok, a bit caught off guard (because a few days prior I had ordered the same way and the drink was presented with whipped cream), and handed her a dollar because I wanted the whipped cream, absolutely not a problem. I started to ask how I should order it going forward to save the trouble. I got the words, "A few days ago...", out of my mouth when a girl appeared from the side to chastise me and tell me I would absolutely be paying for that whipped cream now, and going forward. I politely told her, I did pay for it. She continued to talk, and I simply said, I didn't really need any further information because I felt really embarrassed that she felt I didn't want to pay the $.35. I had already done so. She kept on and I finally said, I think this will be the last time I'll be coming here. If I had not been cut off, they both would have realized I was not complaining, but trying to ask a question (A few days ago I ordered this the same way. What is the best way for me to order this going forward because I've been given it two ways?). Not everyone is trying to be a Karen or scam you. Thanks for ruining a great day up...
Read moreI will say I always love coming here! I'll keep my past message the same but I came to give an update on my frustration with this location. I have added a new photo to show some proof. I always stop in and get 2 coffees on my way to my parents. I have been a loyal customer, even though I am now living in Louisville. I only had one slot left and I was like, "Yes! That means one of my coffees are free!" so I was very excited. I get up to the window and hand her my stamp card to get my free coffee just for it to be given back me to with no new stamps and one stamp on a new card. So I asked, "did I get my free coffee?" because I was very confused. And the batista said, "you only had one stamp left, you didn't have two slots so next time you can get a free one." and not only was that a little weird, they only gave me 1 stamp after paying $12 for 2 drinks. It is making me second guess going there for my coffees bc I was a loyal customer, collecting their stamps till I get a free one, just to be told I won't get my free drink bc "I bought 2 drinks instead of 1" because that's some BS, like fine, follow whatever logic but if I am buying 2 drinks, give me 2 stupid stamps. May be a small thing but it really got under my skin and I am not satisfied. But on the other hand, this is the continuation of my initial post.... A little hack if you love Somoa girl scout cookies, order a Moose with a pump or two of coconut syrup! My mom loved hers, it was a little insight from a worker! Told me how to order it...
Read moreThe best place to stop on our way out of Deam Lake after Horse camping all weekend! We’ve made it a tradition because this coffee and service is SO GOOD! We have our truck/trailer pull along side the main road with hazards on while we take one car into the parking lot. (Although I do wish there was a more convenient/safer way to do this). The staff is ALWAYS overtly happy, nice, and talented. With the delicious custom coffee blends and add-ons, it’s a great pick-me-up on a Sunday morning. If you’re with a dog don’t forget to grab a pup cup! They come topped with a dog biscuit! Keep up the great service and quality coffee! See...
