Imo greedy attitude.
We stopped by this week and ordered three drinks to go. We ordered two smoothies (one with avocado added) and one watermelon drink. The lady that took our order for a moment seemed a little confused and asked us if we ordered an an avocado smoothie and a mixed fruit smoothie. I said no and explained that I would like avocado added to one of the smoothies. I told her that they added avocado the last time I was there. She took our order as is and we paid. A few mins. later another lady announced our order I noticed they got one of our drinks wrong. They gave us a watermelon smoothie (with milk) instead of a watermelon slushy. The lady left to the back kitchen area and then a guy came out from the back kitchen and I explained to him that we didn't order a watermelon smoothie. I asked if we could exchange it for a slushy instead but he straight out refused and said we could order another one but we'd have to pay for it. As customers we've been going there for several months now and we always order three drinks (one of them always being a watermelon slushy) each visit three times a week to go. The least they could've done is correct our order for free.
One time I forgot to bring my punch card so they gave me a second one. The next time I brought both and asked if they could combine the points already earned from both cards onto one card but they refused because that would mean we would be closer to getting a free drink. Most places I've been to were glad to correct any issues and accommodate the customer. We will not continue to give them our business. We will continue to order from Savoureux Patisserie which we had been going to way before...
Read moreUsually love this place. But no offense, the Asian workers are very rude and I have seen them raise their voices at customers. I saw a worker get mad at a customer because she didn’t understand what she was trying to order. Not sure if this is a cultural thing that is acceptable to be rude to customers but their menu can be very confusing. I had a mishap with one of my drinks that I’ve ordered before and the cashier refused to Remake the drink at all. They have a really strict policy about not remaking drinks or making exchanges. Even if you don’t like the drink. I work in the restaurant industry and know that if a customer doesn’t like something new they decided to try, it’s better to bite the bullet and remake them a drink they like in order to keep them coming back. It only costs pennies to make them a new drink, and the reward is a loyal customer forever. Regardless what your policy is, there is no reason to be rude to customers. Pretty disappointing. If you order something or want to try something new, you better like it. They don’t care...
Read moreWalked in and was not greeted by anyone, employees seemed upset by our arrival, place was dirty and cramped. It was hard to hear the employee from behind the glass. When ordering I had to make clear multiple times what I wanted. Ordered the macrons and they were Stale. I didn’t even hear any blenders after I ordered my drink leading me to believe it was pre-made and not fresh. I also didn’t appreciate that I could not see what they were doing in the back or how they were making my drink, unlike most other places (I’ll list a few at the end of my review) the tea I bought was a taro milk tea and a matcha milk tea, they both tasted very watered down and were very runny, not thick like milk. All and all I would not recommend for first timers or people looking to get good authentic boba.
My favorite places to go personally are Bobatopia and Dream coffee and tea, but there are other places that have open kitchens such as; Kung-Fu Tea and Y-Bubble, all the places listed here have open kitchen settings and friendly staff so you can see what...
