The yellowtail jalapeño was not editable. The sauce was so weird. I ate 1 piece as served. It didn’t taste good so I tried it with Soy sauce. even worse. I told the waitress I couldn’t eat it and wanted it taken off the bill. After checking with someone else she told me she couldn’t eat only credit me half the price. Then I ordered soft shell crab which they served with some really bad sauce, I told the waitress and she brought me two other sauces , equally bad. But I do have to say that another lady , I think the manager came over and apologized and did take the yellowtail completely off my bill. So the service was awesome and I appreciate that. I am so disappointed because I live in Seminole and wanted to like it so much. I used to go to Osaka when they were in treasure Island and again when they moved to park blvd. Unfortunately they closed that location and moved to Dume road. I will drive over there because their sushi has always been so incredible. I always hate to say bad things about locally owned businesses. I know how hard they work. But I expect sushi restaurants to have...

First time ever going to this sushi place I have recently really enjoyed and gotten into sushi. So I have enjoyed many different sushi’s. Today I was just craving some sushi with my mom and I ordered the spicy tuna roll and the spicy crab roll during the lunch special at around 1:30. Place was completely empty when we got there and the sushi came out very quickly. The sushi was below average but the krab Rangoon was pretty good. My mother asked to get a different dish the Udon soup and it was just noodles slopped on a plate not even soup. I usually don’t write reviews but I cannot believe how awful this experience was they offered us a gift card and credit there instead of an actual refund. And the server asked if we’ve ever eaten sushi before like SERIOUSLY. But she called the manager on the phone and made my mother talk to her on the phone absolutely ridiculous service. We ended up just leaving and they wouldn’t even bring out the bill so we could leave so we just left some money on the table and left. I would not recommend this place during lunch time I don’t know how good it is during...

My first visit to Sushi and Soy exceeded my expectations. The restaurant is nice and bright, and every table was full, so I bellied up to the sushi bar. So many amazing choices and for my first visit, I chose two orders of Salmon Sashimi, and the Valentine Roll along with their house sake.

The Salmon Sashimi literally melted in my mouth, The Valentine Roll, which is salmon, tuna, avocado, crab, tobiko with soy bean paper (no rice) was so fresh and absolutely AMAZING, accompanying these great choices their Wasabi was spot on!!

Their house sake is buy one get one, what a great deal!! I met Mia tonight as she stopped by to see how my experience was, and all I could do was brag to her that I was texting all my friends that they have to come there and I will definitely come back!

So glad I found a local sushi place that did not disappoint!! They’re open for lunch and I heard they give a nice portion too.

So happy to share my experience and wish them well. Welcome to Seminole!! I can’t wait to go...

OVERALL— the TASTE of everything was just NASTY. I just would not recommend this place at all. Will not be coming back to this place ever again. DEFINITELY not worth the money. Portion size and taste were just not good. The noodles were such a small portion for $8. Plain with no veggies, meat, nothing in it…and tasted terrible with a rubbery old texture to it. Also smelled and tasted weird with a floral like aroma. My chicken and shrimp hibachi meal came with 5 shrimp and the rest chicken. The ginger dressing that came with the salad was watery, yet had small crusty clumps on the rim of the container. Did not taste good. I would have to say that the only thing out of 4 meals, a side of noodles and an order of crab Rangoons that was ok…..was the crab Rangoons— and those were just average like a normal Chinese restaurant. The fried rice also was decent and of course that’s the smallest item you get. Highly disappointed and won’t be returning!!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!! Over $90 for a terrible nights dinner.

Nice remodel of the original space. Sushi was exceptional and fresh. Soba noodles and shrimp. And the volcano roll. Service was top notch. Staff even included a few extras no charge. Really perfect dining experience. Update 11/30. 2nd trip. Pineapple shrimp fried rice. Mexican roll (pieces might be a bit large, could be smaller). Tuna sashimi exceptional Update 1/6/25. Probably 5th time here but lacking: restaurant was freezing, no idea why. Waiter did not bring the hot tea, had to ask 10 minutes later. We asked for the roll to be cut into small pieces, just the opposite. Pieces were far too large. And it took 30 minutes for 4 pieces of sushi and one roll. If you go at night, go early.
