I paid $70 yes $70 for this set… I was told that it was going to be extra because I got cat eye done. I knew that’s before paying. I have a soft nail bed so I wanted to do it dipped but then learned later from my mother (who got the same thing done without dip) that the gel is hard and not like soft polish. Not knowing that before making my appointment I told them I wanted dip when I scheduled the time. I walked in after finding out the gel is hard told the man doing my nails (spiked hair sat toward the front always on his phone while doing nails) that I wanted just gel. He said “no we are doing dip” I said “no I want just gel” he kept telling me no over and over so I gave up and got the dip. I was so irritated while getting my nails done. It hurt so much when he took off my previous dip. He didn’t use a tool to remove the previous he used the tips you put on for length. That made me so upset. I come here all the time and that has never been done. So we get to the cat eye part… he didn’t do anything else but run a magnet over my nails!!!!!!! That’s $15 extra!!! I thought to myself you’re kidding me right. We finish and he says alright get up we’re done. I was taken back by that. I got to pay and here is what I was charged. $5- removal of my previous (I’ve never been charged for removal and I’ve been getting my nails done consistently for the last 2 years) $15- for the cat eye $50-for the dip

I tipped $5 because of his poor service I will unfortunately not be returning the owner is a nice man but some of his staff is very very rude. I felt over charged and like I was a waste of the mans time. I get my nails done as a calming activity, something I should feel good about every 3 weeks. I found a place that now only charges me $80 for what I usually get done here. I hope this place can clean up its act and...

DO NOT GO HERE! I never leave reviews and this was so bad I felt I had to. Scroll past the first few good reviews and you’ll see a pattern of the many bad. Also, have tried many of the local nails shops. All the others are pretty good. I’ve used Be Nails at this location 2 times. Both times: Terrible job. Most expensive nails in the area. Worst manicure I’ve ever gotten. The lady doing the pedicure was good. But 2 different men did my manicures and both terrible and acted rushed and rude. First time he kept trying to force me to get gel. When I absolutely refused - he acted mad and was extremely rude, did a fast, really bad paint job. Went again to see if it was just one bad experience. It’s in a great location. Another man again. I got gel the 2d time. He didn’t even do a manicure since I didn’t already have polish on. Asked to trim my nails. I said no. Just file. He clipped them all below the skin level anyway. Acted like I didn’t say anything. Then did the worst gel I’ve ever had. He got gel polish on my skin- ignored it. Didn’t even clean it off. Rushed the gel nails. Had me alternating my hand in the light machine before the timer went off. Because he was rushed. Didn’t clean up anything. Didn’t do any massage. Worst nail techs I’ve ever encountered. Period. You’re lucky if you get even basic manicure...

Really disappointed at the quality and durability because the atmosphere is great and staff friendly. I was visiting from out of town had called ahead to ask if they offered the gel tips that are cured under the full nail tip - they told me yes they did and it wasn’t until after I had sat down and they began removing my top coat that they brought out the box of regular nail tips, which were not the ones I had requested but they assured me that this version of gel nails is the strongest using the hard gel. Now, I’ve had over a decade of manicures behind me and I have brittle nails and know what works best for me and I was a bit cautious about this but I figured since they were assured at the durability to trust them. Well, ultimately I had to go back the very next day to have a chip fixed and then my index finger broke 4 days after the manicure and my middle nail went on day 5. I’m posting my nails a week out from my manicure - if you prefer sns or full tips do not let them sell you on a hard gel option.
