I live across the street. My family and I have been patronizing this location for over a decade. Over the years, we have watched the steady decline in the quality of service. We hardly patronize this location anymore due to the absolute inconsistency of the product as effected by the staff. This location used to retain staff. We used to be on first name basis with every employee for years. Lately, there has been an entirely new crew turned over every few weeks/months. This location is not retaining employees and the quality of the product is suffering as a result.
I have been disappointed with this location for a few years now, with the constant wrong orders. Today, this location was incredibly busy. There were obviously brand new employees and they did not know how to do or make anything. Our order took 26 minutes and 2/3rds of it was wrong. Not only that, we discovered that one of the sandwiches was burnt to carbon.
This is the most obscene disservice we have had at this location to date. We were offered free sandwich cards as consolation, but to be quite honest we are unlikely to return. If another bagel shop were to open in seminole, this location would likely lose a large chunk of it's revenue overnight.
I imagine this location is currently making wonderful profits due to the captive market. I do not expect the service or product to improve because if they are busy like they were today, why should they change anything? Just know that this location is only pulling in the numbers it currently does because it has a monopoly, it certainly is not due to service or...
Read moreThis was quite the experience. First, there’s something about the floors there. It’s tiled and it looks really dirty. I’ve always thought this, but it’s been awhile since I’ve been there and I was a bit taken aback by how dirty it felt in there. I appreciate the allergy information displayed on the menu, but I ordered a plain bagel with avocado and an egg white. They had already told us they didn’t have a plain bagel so when I ordered the thin bagel, they said they didn’t have the thin bagels. The employer said, “I think the brown sugar one is good and safe.” I said that “I think” does not work for someone with allergies. It needs to be a completely, “I’m sure.” My dad ordered a muffin warmed up, and it was sooooo greasy. I asked for oat milk, and they forgot it. So the employee came and told me she was going to get my almond milk. I told her I asked for oat milk, not almond. And I can’t have almond milk because of my allergies. So the employee said she was sorry and they didn’t have oat milk. That’s seemed to be the theme-they didn’t have most everything we asked for and they tried to give me food with my allergens.
So this was not a great experience and I won’t be returning!! Too unsafe with allergies (foods are too close for cross-contamination!) and they didn’t have...
Read moreWe are in Florida for 3 months every year. Last year this Einstein was great. This year it is awful. They don't allow ice tea refills anymore. Two employees talked to each other loudly the whole time instead of helping customers. One was hateful and rude both times we went. Our first time I spoke with a nice manager. We gave it a second try today. The first time the employee said she could only fill my ice tea to about 3 inches. Today I paid more for a large, no refill allowed. $3.29 for a large. I get cream cheese on the side; they didn't put enough to thinly cover my bagel. We were told we can't get the cheap price for 13 bagels on Mondays because we weren't in Fla to buy anything in December. We like the location but won't go back. We will do breakfast at Panera or McDonald's or family owned places near us. UPDATE...A district manager contacted me. Keyla made everything right and invited us back. Krystal, the general manager, was so helpful and accommodating. Now things are corrected and good! I left my bad review so people know they worked to make...
