I came in today to order and I was waiting in line figured it would be faster than ordering online since last two times I had to wait over 20 min from ordering online. The young girl at register asked me to wait when it was my turn to order to wait while she gives the two waiting online orders so they don’t have to wait after they walked in minutes after I did. She then asked me about my order and proceeded I said go ahead and finish up with them. She then put in the wrong order I corrected her and mentioned that I always have to wait that this wasn’t the first time. I asked to speak to a manager. The young girl said I am the manager we are really busy we make over 6,000 dollars a day. And she refused my order. The food wasn’t even for me it was my significant other I was just trying to do something nice and surprise him. She started raising her voice to me in front of customers. She is extremely unprofessional. Perhaps needs to learn what customer service is. She said I threatened her which I did not. All I said was I would report her to the Better Business Bureau. I’m assuming she’s to young to understand that. I asked to speak to her manager she then took out her personal cell phone to call her and started talking to her about me in front of me. I then went on the phone and she seemed nice but she couldn’t get a word in nor could I because the girl at the register started to act manic and wouldn’t stop talking over me. I then took my cash and walked out. Horrible place. Terrible customer service. Maybe they need to hire someone more mature that can handle customer and complaints. Read moreJust went into Bentos and the poor girl working the front was SLAMMED. Two customers came to check on their food but it was not ready yet so they left and got back in line a couple minutes later. There was a lady in front of the 2 people that had already checked on their food and the girl at the counter asked if she minded if she checked out these 2 people that were waiting, so the lady says sure. She checks them out and then the lady goes off saying that she had to wait 15 minutes and did 2 weeks ago, too, and that she'll never be back. She started threatening the girl at the counter saying that she knows people and she's gonna call Better Business Bureau because she had to wait too long. When I tell you the whole town was there it was insanely slammed and she was at the tail end of the rush. She was explaining to the lady calmly and kindly that they are extremely busy and sometimes do over 6 grand in a day so that's a lot of food, and in no way was she "bragging about how much they make" (which is what this angry woman claims in her review) she was explaining to her why they are so busy and that she was sorry she had to wait so long. The girl at the counter was so sweet and polite the entire time. Especially considering there were still other people in the RESTAURANT. I cannot understand why she acted that way towards her. I've never been disappointed with the food or service at Bentos. They aren't fast food, they are a restaurant. You'd wait AT LEAST 15 minutes for food anywhere else. Keep up the good work, guys. Read moreFor two years we’ve been eating at Bento…and tonight I was served only what I can call at “retaliatory version” of the spicy chicken stir fry for asking too many questions. Here’s what happened: we called and placed our normal order, and asked for an extra side of spicy teriyaki sauce (which we have asked for before and it’s not been an issue.) tonight it was an issue, and after being told “that doesn’t exist” even tho we ordered spicy chicken teriyaki… we let it go and got a side of regular. We picked up our dinner and my “level 2” spicy stir fry was terrifyingly inedible. This was level 9000. Literally unable to speak, my lips are swollen as type this. We called, and the owner basically admitted in the background to front counter clerk that he essentially over did it on purpose. Clerk: “This guy on the phone says his order is wayyyyy too spicy” … owner: “Oh yeah the chicken stir fry 2 star? Yep. What do they want me to do about it.” I can’t express how forking uncool this is. Thanks so much for retaliating at me for asking questions....
