We had an extremely bad experience here that almost ruined our trip. We booked a two-bedroom suite a month in advance and even received a confirmation. But when we arrived late on Labor Day weekend after a long day of travel, the staff told us they had no record of our reservation. On one of the busiest weekends of the year, everything else in the area was completely sold out, so we were basically stranded. Instead of apologizing and taking responsibility, they blamed Booking.com for “not downloading the reservation,” and even suggested it was our fault for not calling ahead to double-check. The “solution” they offered was a huge downgrade. Our group of four (two couples) had to squeeze into a one-bedroom unit instead of the two-bedroom suite we had reserved. Two of us ended up sleeping on the floor. After a long day of travel, this was incredibly frustrating and completely unacceptable. To make things worse, the property refused to compensate us. We had to chase Booking.com customer service ourselves and only then got a partial refund. But that refund barely covered the difference between what we paid for and what we got, it didn’t even begin to address the stress and disappointment of the whole situation. The town itself was fine, and the staff at least tried to seem accommodating, but this doesn’t change the fact that our booking was mishandled and our holiday weekend was thrown into chaos. Easily the worst booking experience we’ve ever had.

So after a disasterous first night in another hotel thats not a hotel. We landed here. Warm friendly efficent check in even offered bottled water. It gave off a very family vibe with kids looking like they were accomplishing some homeschool. We stayed a few nights and we just had a blast exploring and having fun because we knew at the end of our day we knew we'd have a wonderful place to come back to. The room itself was huge! Two rooms with a lovely back porch. A wet bar too which put eating out to a minimum. Theres a safeway a block down for grocery shopping or a Walmart costco a block up. So its located pretty central to everything. It is a little outdated but still a great stay My hope is that they eventually figure out a laundry facilty as the one down the street is too far to walk with kids and duffel bag full. The back gravel lot im not sure if they own it but that would be sweetto see a fruit orchard back there off those porches

Super cute little inn - a great location to stay at while we were visiting Olympic National Park. The beds and pillows are comfy, the AC works well and the room was clean and cozy. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of space. The only thing is that the office closes at a certain time, so if you're checking in later in the evening, you should call and let them know in advance of your arrival time so they can make arrangements for you to be able to get into your room. We did this, and they were very helpful. The staff members here are great! We felt safe and comfortable here and would stay again if we're in the area!

My friend and I stayed here during our trip around the Olympic Peninsula and it was everything we needed!

My only negative/constructive comment is about check-in. The day before, we called the front desk to let them know that the following day, we may be checking in late due to ferry schedules from Canada. The gentleman at the front desk appreciated the call and said the front desk would be open until 10/11 pm (I cannot remember which) and that he would be there when we checked in. The day we were coming back from Victoria, B.C. on the ferry, he actually called to see if we thought we would be late, but we let him know that the ferry had just arrived in Port Angeles. Again, he said he would be there, but when we arrived the office was dark and the closed sign was on the door. Thankfully, I called him and he had left our room key outside in a hidden location; had we not called, however, I'm not sure what would have happened.

The location was perfect for us on the way from Port Angeles to Port Townsend and would be good for the North/East part of Olympic (approximately 20ish minutes away from the ONP visitor's center), but wouldn't be good for the beach side of things (Cape Flattery, Shi Shi, Rialto, HOH rainforest - Forks is closer for those, just a recommendation after just being there!)

We only stayed here for the night to sleep and got up early the next day to leave which it was fine for; the bed was comfortable, the air conditioner worked, and the room was clean, but I cannot comment...

We booked a two-bedroom suite here a month in advance and even received a confirmation, so we thought everything was set. But when we arrived late on Labor Day weekend, after a long day of travel, we were told they had no record of our reservation. On one of the busiest weekends of the year, when every hotel nearby was completely sold out, this was an absolute nightmare.||Instead of taking responsibility, the staff blamed Booking.com for “not downloading the reservation,” and even suggested that we should have called ahead to double-check.||The “solution” they gave us was unacceptable. Our group of four (two couples) had to squeeze into a single-bedroom unit instead of the two-bedroom suite we reserved. Two people had to sleep on the floor. After a long travel day, this was beyond disappointing and nothing like what we had paid for.||To make matters worse, the property refused to offer any compensation. We had to chase down Booking.com customer service ourselves, and although we did receive a tiny refund, it was only because we insisted, not because the property tried to make things right. And that refund barely covered the difference between what we booked and what we got, without addressing the stress and disruption it caused.||The town itself is near Olympic and the property looked fine, but this experience left a very bitter impression. Unfortunately, this was the worst booking experience we’ve ever had, and I would not recommend...
