What a gem of a restaurant! This was my first time to dine in this fine restaurant, and it did not disappoint. After an exhausting round of golf at the fun Cedars Dungeness Golf Course, I decided to reward myself of a 5 star dinner at Tedesco's. The moment I entered the establishment, I was greeted immediately by Tina and she sat me in one of the fun tables in the restaurant. Dan my server was super attentive, super friendly, and super knowledgeable about the cocktails and red wine selections! Kudos to the bartender for concocting a nice dirty martini with olives stuffed with bleu cheese...the The food was served in a timely manner, and oh boy, they were super delicious - I ordered the Caesar Salad, the Calamari Fritti, the Seared Pork Chop....no complaints....the Anterra Merlot 2020 paired well with my entree - thank you Dan for the suggestion! Then to cap off the unforgettable evening, I ordered the Tiramisu - super moist, super delectable! The crew this evening was amazing - though Jayden the other server did not serve me, he was amazing in attending to a big group of people; the busser - Uriah - was super quick in turning the tables...Tina even stopped by to ask me how my dinner was....all in all a 5 star experience! I was visiting from Woodinville and I will surely be back! Keep up the good work Tedesco's!
UPDATE: 3/17/2023 Came back this evening with my golf buddy who is vegan. They were able to accommodate his request for a plant-based entree! They even served him a vegan dessert of strawberries and blueberries. Our server - Jayden - was super attentive....very fun to talk to....very sincere in making sure our dining experience but perfect in every way! Uriah was there too and like the last time, he was quick in cleaning our table! Tina sat us in the best spot of the restaurant....we will...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI want desperately to give a 5-star rating, but sadly I need to judge every Italian restaurant first and foremost by the quality (and consistency) of their pizza. When Tedesco's first opened we were blown away by what we considered to finally be really good East Coast pizza here in Sequim. We took our neighbors there and raved about it. But it seems that the price of success for Tedesco's may be the poor and inconsistent pizza. Last month we ordered two large pizzas for a family gathering. When we went to pick it up instead of the two large pizzas we were given one large and two small, they said they were having "issues" with the pizzas. After paying $50 for the pizzas, (! evidently because I didn't order the toppings in a cost-effective method... unfortunate that the person taking my order didn't help me out with that), we ended up with pizza with a doughy, too-thick crust, way too much cheese and very greasy. After again raving about the pizza I had to apologize to my family for the sub-par food. Well, just last night we thought we'd try again. We ordered one large plain pizza and, again, were disappointed. Although not as bad as last month's. This single pizza had an inconsistent crust, one side thin, the other side thick, hardly any sauce and was way too salty. I can only believe that Tedesco's is letting anyone in the kitchen make their pizza and not doing proper training or consistency checks. Perhaps the take-out isn't getting the attention it deserves? I would LOVE to have a really good pizza place in town and hope that Tedesco gets...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy dad loved mashed potatoes- he was dying and I was in Sequim visiting him for the last time. I stopped here while in Sequim June 20th 2021 on Fatherās Day in the morning. I wanted to find a restaurant that would make my dad is favorite- mashed potatoes. I wanted good homemade ones, not the pre-made flakes. Tedescoās was the only higher end rest restaurant I saw on my way to his house..and the door was open. I went inside, and they were preparing for lunch. The front reception said āIām sorry, we are not open yet.ā I told her of my mission to find some really good mashed potatoes for my dad who was dying. She went and got the chef from the kitchen. The chef came out and listened to my request. He replied āthat is so weird. We donāt usually make mashed potatoes, but I was going to make some for a special tonight! Iāll make a big batch do you can come pick some up for him.ā I went back around 4pm and picked up the mashed potatoes- they were wonderful. My dad was so happy- he ate the entire big bowl all by himself. It was the last meal he ate. He died 3 days later.
What an amazing set of people run this place. They stopped their busy day to make a really special moment happen for me and my dad. I tell this story all the time, because it was so amazing and full of love. I figured I should put it on the review so everyone can know that Tedescoās food is full of LOVE š. Thank you so much for my...
