This review refers to the food and the tea here. Tea is mediocre. The pastries are from la gourmandine, which sounds fine, until you find that they might be a day old and they might be two days old. If you care about patisserie, you know that it must be fresh, above all else. Not good. They serve Millie's handmade ice cream, which again sounds good, but both single-serving tubs that we ordered had actual freezer burn. Maybe this isn't the fault of the cafe, but either way, not promising. We've been back twice, to try each of the aforementioned items. We won't be back again. Hands down the best coffee stop in Sewickley. The staff is friendly and will greet you every time you step in their door. With a rotating selection of beans, you're guaranteed a fresh cup every day. Even when I wasn't drinking coffee for a bit, their tea selection never let me down. Hungry? A small coffee counter with some outdoor seating, this is a little treasure in Sewickley. They have various unique coffees here, and baked treats. They also offer great prices on coffee: I got the coffee cup pictured filled almost full of coffee and milk for three dollars!
