Lucid Juice - Sewickley — Restaurant in Sewickley

I'll start by saying we have been coming to Sewickley Salud for years and we love the products (hence the two stars). That being said, there has been a noticeable negative shift in the customer service and cleanliness of the location. We recently stopped in and there was loud obnoxious music playing and the staff could barely muster the motivation to ask us what we wanted to order. The very worst part, though, was the downright filthiness of the dining area and restroom. I was actually shocked at how neglected these have become. The bathroom was disgusting and clearly hasn't been cleaned in a very long time. The dining area floor is littered with crumbs and dirt that is evidence that there is no routine cleaning in place to sweep and mop the floors. The display shelves are haphazardly strewn with merchandise or just plain bare and dusty. All of these signs equate to a complete lack of care from the employees, and more importantly, from the management. My husband and I are concerned about the state of the kitchen if this is what the main areas that customers can see look like. I do not live in Sewickley, but my church, and many of my friends live there, so over the past few years I occasionally come into Salud to purchase a Racer's Edge smoothie, which is delicious. I came into Salud this morning, and one other person was waiting for their drink. I went up to the register, and a young man just looked at me, not greeting me, or asking what I would like to order. So I told him that I would like a regular Racer's Edge smoothie, and then he finally spoke the amount I owed. I gave him my money, and he gave me my change, without uttering another word. He never asked my name, but I observed that when the other customer's drink was ready, her name was called. When my smoothie was ready, he just walked up to the counter, put my drink on the counter, turned around immediately and walked away, again not saying anything to me! Of course, he couldn't address me by name, because he didn't ask my name when I ordered. I was shocked by his rude behavior, but the only thing I said as I was walking out the door, was "great customer service"! I've been here a handful of times, and am admittedly a novice of the whole juicing scene. I am, however, a dedicated foodie, and as such I love this little gem of a juice bar with its eclectic offerings of juices and bowls that deliciously satisfy my belly while boosting my health! Both the staff and the decor give off a comfortable, friendly vibe. My favorite menu item thus far is a beet and ginger combo that, quite frankly I don't care how healthy it is - it's a flavor match made in heaven!
