After many years of patronizing this store, I cannot recommend it any longer and that is truly a shame.
The Shakopee store had been inconsistent lately. A recent order 10/9/2020 that was inexcusable. The manager made it right on the next trip in. But seriously! Take a look at the pizza. No meat hardly, spinach oh six or seven leafs worth. Things have been somewhat better and then I tried to place an order this evening...
On Friday, February 5, 2021 at 7:30 pm on the dot, a half hour before COVID closing time, and hour and a half from normal closing time. I had a guy who was irritated that I called sId they were closed and I challenged him, âarenât you open until 8 oâclock?!?â He didnât answer my question he stated that they weâre breaking things down and the door was locked. Hmm. Okay, fine Pizza Man it is. Hey manager/owner/operator get your store back in shape! You get a fail on tonightâs customer experience.
2019âCustomers may wish to keep an eye on the quality of product being produced by this mostly teenage-staffed pizzeria. In-store orders yield a better result for your pizza night since you can monitor how your pizza is being prepared. To their credit, most of Papa Murphyâs team will accommodate your request to take a little extra care in preparing your pizza. The Shakopee store earns 4-Stars only because one should not need to keep employees accountable for producing consistent high-quality product. We visit an average of 2 or 3 times a month...
Read morePlaced an order today for 2 pizzas for delivery via Uber Eats. For some strange reason Uber Eats forwarded the order to Papa Murphy's store in Shakopee, although there are several Papa Murphy's closer to us in Eden Prairie. The order came to over $45, not exactly a bargain. It took an hour to get it delivered, not surprising, as we could follow Hassan the Uber driver on our computer screen on a totally erratic path to our house. When he finally arrived, much to our surprise, the pizzas were ice cold and still needed to be baked! No receipt or order number was given either. I called the store in Shakopee to complain. A totally unsympathetic employee there referred me to Uber Eats. Except there was no phone number for them and, as noted previously, not even a receipt. A bit of detective work online yielded a toll-free number for Uber Eats. After a lengthy dialogue with a decision tree robot on that toll-free line l was eventually led to a lady with a nice philippino accent. Gushing with empathy. But zero refund, not even a discount for our next order. Nothing. All in all a...
Read moreOut of all the Papa Murphy's pizza locations I have been to throughout the twin cities metro area this by far exceeds all expectations of what a customer should expect in their experience!đđ
By far exceptionally clean, very friendly, and efficiently run with a staff that seems to be on top of everything!!! (No pun intended!!!)đ
I have to say that in my coming in once a week for the past 3 years since New Management has taken over it has become if not better the best it could possibly be!!!đ€©
Beth (Mngr) runs the place like she has been doing it her entire life; she is spot on when it comes to her disposition with her employees and her customers who she greets on a first name basis with a BIG smile even if she's busy in the back she'll find time to pop her head out just to say hello!!! In my eyes she exudes...
