Brickhouse Saloon — Restaurant in Shawnee

I really want to like this place but there’s so much that could be better. For one it’s a small town and this is all you have to choose from, for two they want to act like they are as good as the clubs in the city. The drinks are not creative and very boring, not much for high end alcohol. The layout of all the clubs is just weird and doesn’t quite work not to mention the sound and placement of speakers is wrong. You will have to scream at each other just to have a conversation. Mostly this is a beer joint with karaoke, hip hop and county with a few rock bands. It’s a 3 story building so I would suggest totally removing the front stairs and installing one of those simple yet swanky elevators. I would suggest that the owner visit some clubs in the city and see what people really want, just because it’s a small town doesn’t mean that you can’t upgrade...

Really enjoying this town yet i think I need to start questions some of these locals after a great BBQ dinner down the street, we were looking for a lil nite cap and after reading Ambers M review I knew this was the place to try! She couldn’t have been more wrong as I actually saw her on stage singing that night and her Girlfriends snap chatting her failed attempts at singing a classic LeAnn Rimes song, “ear piercing is right” I just have to say “how do I live” without the Brickhouse Saloon!! Man what to say about this place.... There is something for everyone here. With 2 floors and 3 separate bars and a smoke (mmj) lounge it's hard not to find a place to fit it. All the bartenders are awesome with the personalities to match. Karla the owner is a wonderful woman and makes sure everyone is happy when you visit her establishment.
