Hands down the absolute WORST Taco Bell I have ever been to. We keep saying we will never go back here, wait a few months and try again and it's always the absolute worst experience.
Few months ago, we decided to stop going here, tons of bad experiences before this one but this was the deal breaker because we sat in the Drive Thru line for over 20 minutes to finally get to the order screen to be told they are only accepting Door Dash and App pickups, they cannot take anymore orders. I asked if they were serious as there is a long line of cars and nothing posted anywhere saying they were closed, and the person told me, "That's the way the cookie crumbles". Extremely rude, and if you've never been here before, you should know this is a pretty big problem because the drive thru is one of those drive-thrus where once you get in, you cannot get out.
Fast forward to today, need a quick bite to eat, love Taco Bell and decide it's been a few months let's try it again. The order taker didn't even know what was in their 6$ deluxe box, then when someone told her, I purchased it to get home and find out it's not at all what they said was in it.
I understand with the pandemic places are short staffed, can't find workers, etc... But there is just absolutely no excuse for their service. Not sure what the root cause is here, but I sincerely hope management or ownership sees these recent reviews and does something about it. I am not looking for replacements, free items, coupons etc. I just want a decent...
Read moreKeep in mind if you order on the app and they're out of ingredients for the item you were "craving" (like, say, black beans for a Black Bean Chalupa), they will not credit you since you already paid and you have to select something else of "equal value". So I selected a Nachos Bell Grande to the response of "Oh, I guess we can do that". "Guess"? Like they're doing YOU a favor. This "rule" I was not aware of until now so if you're "craving" something from TB and they don't have it....you'll just have to make do with what ya get I "guess". Really I'm not that particular, especially at fast food places, but this is ludicrous.
I thought I selected the location a bit further south on Van Dyke on the app but obviously made a mistake. Night/day experience. This girl spoke English but I could not understand a word she was saying....at the window....not the speaker. The parents and schools are failing you all miserably.
Depending on your location, try the one on 26 Mile in Macomb. Always great service, friendly workers, never had a problem there....like the one on Van Dyke near Romeo too. I can't understand how these places can be so inconsistent in the same...
Read moreThis location over the course of the past couple months has deliberately made all my orders wrong on purpose. As of tonight 9/17/24 another incident as the person prepping the food was hysterically laughing with the woman working the drive-through. I didn’t think anything of it until once again I get home and the entire order is wrong.
Ordered 3 DLT supreme was given 3 nacho shells with Only cheese and lettuce inside of them. I also ordered a grilled cheese burrito and checked the monitor before I drove up and I was given a burrito with only steak inside instead of beef and nothing else. This is the fourth time in a month period this has happened.
The gentlemen with a long mustache who use to work there making the food and worked the drive thru. Now works at the new location at 25 1/2 and van dyke. He warned me not to order from there because of food tampering. I didn’t bother to question him too much and thought maybe he might be bitter from no longer working there. Unfortunately the new location I believe closes at 11pm or midnight. So sometimes I’m forced to go there. However after tonight I can no longer trust even the overall cleanliness...
