Big Apple Bagels — Restaurant in Shelby Charter Township

5-Star reviews MUST be friends or being kind!!! I’ve placed five orders and two of those were correct and three of them “forgotten” or made the wrong day!

Orders NEVER ready or even there!!! Just left and for the 2ND time the owner “forgot” the order!!! This has happened twice & sadly I look bad bcuz I had promised an organization that I was bringing in bagels for them & I’m left running around to find something else to bring in!!! The first time a screw up happened I placed an order for a Wednesday but when I went to pick up they thought it was for the day before so had nothing for me! Ok, I thought, maybe I had given the wrong day/date and believed it was my fault! Now today is the 2ND time an order has just been “forgotten”! The owner must not want to make money, is stupid or under the influence - WTF!!! In fairness, they have had a couple orders ready and waiting for me but today’s screw up means that they have gotten it right twice and wrong three times! I’ll call Panera, Einstein’s or Elaine’s and give them my business - I’m certain they...

Was just there this morning trying to get a breakfast sandwich. When I walked in, the door chimed you alert employees that a customer was walking in. I stood at the counter for atleast 5 minutes while the 2 employees chatted away in the back. I could see them talking. I moved to a spot at the counter to make sure they seen me. The lady was halfway turned towards the front and didn’t see me, but I’m sure the guy seen me because he was facing the counter area. The lady finally notices me and says “oh!”. And comes to take my order. She’s a little slower making the sandwich compared to other big apples. But I’d rather drive another 15 minutes to the next big apple since the one closer to me has bad customer...

I stopped in with my wife because I had to use the restrooms and a older gentleman pointed them out to me, while I was going he asked me if i was going to buy something to which i responded maybe a drink, but while I was inside he starred and harassed my wife till she bought something even going as far to say "you can't use the restrooms and not buy nothing " this was uncalled for and a weak move on his part he waited till i wasnt present to defend her then continuously asked her if she'd buy something pressuring her into making a purchase,I've never actually ate there but off this incident alone I will not...
