Great pizza great service! My grandkids were here and I'm trying to feed six people, eight people swimming at a pool. I just want to get some pizza to add to our lunch, late lunch :-) I ordered my pizza at about 3:20 I was told it would be 7 to 8 minutes. I drove there which probably took me five or six I'll walk in the gentleman says it will be done in a couple of minutes. Pizza done I got two large pepperoni pizzas one thin one regular crushed the young man had medium length curly hair and glasses he was so kind and so helpful and I have to say it's the best Papa John's pizza I've ever had in my life and I have had a business in J-Town for 38 years. And it will knock Pizza Hut off the wall. At least that's my opinion. I paid almost $22 with change for two large pepperoni pizzas we still have a few pieces left we did add it with fruit but I'm telling you you need to try this it's one of the best deals I've had in a long long time! Thank you guys at the Papa John's Pizza in shelbyville! I truly do appreciate it,...
Read moreI used to work here a while ago, but I don't anymore, mainly cause none of the employees follow Healthcodes. They don't wash their hands after handling raw meats, jalapeños, and anchovies. Nor do they wash their workstation correctly, and they use their bare hands to grab toppings from the containers instead of using portion cups. See? Unsanitary. On top of that, if you want to work here, please don't. They'll work you until you pass out, which is what almost happened to me. I was standing, hardly able to breathe, and about to black out when the manager forced me to continue working. And on top of that, I was promised to receive a bonus of $20 for when I went to orientation, yet after I quit, I have never received my $20. They said their whole reasoning why was because "corporate made it so that we can't give overtime anymore, it was put in effect a few days after you went to orientation."
Summary: Don't eat here, stores not sanitary. Don't work here, they will make promises they can't...
Read moreExtremely unprofessional staff, half need to be retrained at the very least. My order was delivered to the incorrect address, and they wanted to argue with me that they dropped it off at the correct location. They refused to remedy this other than "come into the store"pick up the pizza you paid for and we failed to deliver"
That's not how delivery works. I'll be in contact with corporate over both this and their unprofessional manager. Have yet to even receive so much as a refund.
Update: Tried ordering from them again, and it's almost as if the burned to a crisp paper thin pizza with no toppings was purposeful. Refused to redeliver it. The GM needs to find another line of work. She knows what she's doing, they hung up when I asked for her name. It's ok. I've spoken with somebody above her head, I have it, and complaint has been filed. Avoid this restaurant until there's a change in management,...
