Only giving 2 stars because they actually did a good job this trip on 1 of our sundaes. Our first trip there last week, we ordered 3 Sundaes - ordering was a process as we had to repeat every sundae, we get it, new workers, new menu to learn. After waiting our turn (30 minutes) we got to the window and we're handed a brown bag with our sundaes inside. Off we go, when we got home (1/2 mile away) we opened our treats and were less than impressed. Turtle delight - regular size. Maybe a tablespoon of caramel and about the same amount of chocolate. Not even visible from the top if the sundae. Brownie delight - regular size, tiny, amount of chocolate and an Itty bitty brownie piece at the bottom. Caramel/cashew sundae - regular - 6 or 7 cashew pieces and maybe a tablespoon of caramel. Ok, new store - learning experience. Tonight we decided to give them a second chance - hubby and kiddo wanted a sundae - drive thru, a little quicker this time and the ordering was easy and no issues. Only ordered 2 sundaes this time. Turtle delight - regular size and a brownie delight. The brownie delight came out first, had a brownie this time, but a small amount of custard. Turtle delight followed 3 minutes later and it actually looked like a true Freddy's sundae you would expect. Read moreI have been to this Freddys around five times. On two occasions, I’ve had to go in the restaurant and get my order because the line was too long through the drive-through. Each time the same gentleman helped me. His name I IBS I think he’s the Company Hospitality Ambassador. He always treats me with a smile and always says thanks for coming in today. He then proceeds to ask me how can I help you? I always say I just want a chicken sandwich and a small drink. He says are you sure you don’t want the combo? I say no I’m sure. Then he add’s it up and then I look at the price and I look at him and I say each time I said it now that’s kind of crazy. It’s only 80 more sense that I get the whole combo and a bigger drink. We always chuckle because I know he remembers me. Then I say Is there anyway I can just get the combo? We both chuckle again and he has to give me a refund and Start my order over again. He is so nice so kind and then he says thanks for coming in. The food is excellent. It is always prepared fresh it always taste good. Everyone that works there it seems very nice. Before I left, I told him next time I come in here I’m not gonna do this to you and we both chuckle and he says it’s no problem. He is an asset to your company. Read moreI would not eat at this store if I were paid to. This restaurant lacks diversity, equity, and inclusion. There are little to no people of color on the management staff, and those who are end up either being fired or forced to quit. The management is highly disrespectful to the employees. My daughter began working there at age 15 and was constantly called in to work, breaking the child labor laws. When I spoke to management, I was told she works the hours or loses her job. Once she made it to the management team, she was discriminated against because of her age, even though she was the absolute best at her job. Management constantly ridiculed her and paid less than older adults doing the same job. On top of that, she was forced to resign due to gross disrespect and lack of communication. Once she handed in her notice, she was let go and told by the COO Jody not to return to the store. Shame on you! She did not deserve that. What kind of policy is that?? If that is indeed store policy, then your policies need to be revamped. Management is spinning false narratives to save face. Now, the owner is threatening her with lawyers because of a review someone else posted without her consent. Try that with me. Treat your employees better!!
