We made reservation on a Sunday night which required a $25 per person non-refundable deposit. Our waiter approached our table with the worst attitude from the start. Menu states that everyone must order 1 entree. I told waiter I was ordering a salad and 2 appetizers instead of one entree and he didn’t say anything. The other people at the table ordered entrees. The food was fair at best. The chicken and veal dishes were both tasteless and tough. Hard to cut with a knife tough. Then the bill arrives with an upcharge to $31 on one of my appetizers which was $18 on menu. We asked for the manager and explained that I ordered 2 apps and a salad which came to more than 1 entree and shouldn’t be overcharged for an appetizer. We also mentioned that the chicken and veal were very tough. Her response was she’ll adjust the bill this time but never again and they serve 200 chicken and veal dishes a week and no one ever complains and walked away. She returned with the bill and changed the overcharge to the regular price of the appetizer. We said we wanted to talk to you and give you the chance to make things right instead of leaving an unsatisfactory review. She says you can leave any review you want, we don’t care what you do and walked away again. So needless to say between the terrible service, not so great food and the nasty manager, we won’t ever be returning to Raimondos. There are too many better restaurants in the area to waste...

I’m going to preface this post by saying this restaurant has a nice environment for eating and a great young service staff. That said… food is way overpriced for the quality and portions they serve. Tonight I ordered the seafood Fra Diavolo which included shrimp, scallops and crabmeat. After receiving my order I noticed there were only 3 shrimp, 2 scallops and a morsel (no joke) of crabmeat. I immediately summoned over the hostess who is one of the owners daughters to inform her there was no seafood and only fettuccini in my $55 meal to which she replied, ‘I see a piece of crab right there’ and literally pointed her finger at the tiny sole piece of crabmeat on my plate. At that point I knew not even an apology was going to given so I insisted on speaking with one of the owners on my way out. Upon doing so it became apparent that the woman was already aware of the situation but guess what - instead of trying to learn more through some discovery directly from the customer I was cut off and told, ‘that is our normal portion of seafood and we don’t need your business.’ What?!!!! That’s how you treat a customer? Every time I tried to speak I was interrupted with, ‘We don’t need your business’ which was repeated three times! …all because I gave feedback that there was no seafood in my pile of fettuccine ! I couldn’t believe it. Guess what…. you win Raimondos - you won’t be getting...

Why are people lining up let alone waiting to dine here? Visiting Beach Haven to stay with friends we had a reservation for dinner for four adults.

Our experience with the staff and our server was absolutely fine.

When the food came to the table the disappointments stacked up. The three appetizers we shared were average at best and I'd argue your local pizzeria may do them better for half the price.

Our entrees were again average to below average. I ordered the Eggplant Parmesan that was around $30 was an embarrassing plate of food. Three measly slices of eggplant covered in a flavorless tomato sauce that had the consistency of baby food puree. Not a slow all day cooked homemade sauce. I suspect it was watered down had an immersion blender taken to it because they were running out. The eggplant had an impotent sprinkle of cheese and came to the table warm at best.

When I see a line of waiting diners, reservations well in advance required, and upscale pricing on inexpensive to produce plates diners should be WOWED. Not happening here.

The success of this restaurant is simply because of it's location because what's coming out of its kitchen is underwhelming and I promise you've had better at your local fluorescent bulb lit pizzeria for...

We came here for the early bird special in December. We hadn’t been in over 10 years and the restaurant is under new ownership/management and the food was fantastic. One of the best pork chops, everyone wished they had ordered that once they had a taste. Fried artichokes was the best appetizer. The tuna egg rolls which I think was a special were underwhelming. Risotto scallops was a good choice and I think I got the chicken parm and wish I had gotten the pork chops! Desserts were all delicious and the whipped cream was so good, we were all left guessing what the ingredients were until the chef came out to explain the process. Again: early bird special cause we all know LBI is slowly becoming the Hamptons

In a week that we are at Isola, Dune18, Stefanos and Raimondos, this was our most expensive meal. To be fair it was good but not any better than those other restaurants so something to be aware of. My wife’s and son each got a filet (one special one on menu) and I got the veal parm special while my other son ordered linguini and clams. Each dish was good. Both kids said they liked food better than Stefanos, my wife and I thought Stefanos better. Again food was good just not sure it was worth the incremental price. Also found they had too many rule…order all at once, plate sharing charges. Service was great though and seated right away for our reservation. BYOB.

We went over to Raimondo's for dinner Saturday night. This was our first experience and definitely will not be our last. We started with the meatballs appetizer, which is a favorite for my husband. He stated their meatballs are now his favorite. We both had the cream of mushroom soup which was fantastic. He had ribeye special and I had the shrimp parmigiano. Both meals were excellent and we had leftovers to bring home. I made the attempt at a healthier dessert by having the berries with marsala custard. So damn good! He had the tartufo, again a favorite. And of course I had my Prosecco with me since they are a BYOB. Service was exceptional!
