Burritos Mi Tierra ll — Restaurant in Shorewood

Food is always great, but when I'm actually in front of you in the building, I feel I should get your full attention versus you trying to service drive thru. As I was paying, the cashier went to take an order at drive thru while my food was just sitting waiting to be handed to me. Definitely picky on my part, but there was a 2nd person sorting salsas who could have easily grabbed my food.

Note to owner: still my favorite place for Mexican food BUT price increases have greatly reduced my frequency of coming in. I used to go every week, now I am down to once a month. I get inflation but going from $18 per order to $22 on the same order is way too big of price increases. Also, this is like the 2nd time within 1 year. I hope business is still strong, and you didn't price yourself out of keeping too many customers from coming in as frequently. I still get my Mexican food fix once a week, but it is now mainly from somewhere else that hasn't priced themselves out.

More recent note, why you now get 4 stars...Got charged for sour cream on both of my items even though menu says these items come with sour cream. Will continue to reduce how much I come to this...

Very good burritos awful person working at drive thru. I was there today frday 0ct.11. 12:45 i ordered steak burrito value meal and have pretty much stopped there once a week since it opened and get the same thing Always it came with a soda. Today no soda i asked tge young man wheres the soda he said the meal doesnt come with one. Always did before it still says so on drice thru. I said yes it does i always eat here and.... Couldnt finish my sentence he said NO IT DOESNT AND SLAMMED THE WINDOW.so thats one less customer there i go at least once a week thats 45+ dollars a month less in there profits. Thats at least 540 dollars less profit your store will receive from me all over a soda!!! UPDATE!! It was me and my husband's first time here. He had a steak taco dinner with cilantro and onion and I had a taco dinner with a chorizo taco and a steak taco with cilantro and onion. Also, always have to get the corn tortillas! Omg it was so good! We just moved out here this year (we like to consider ourselves authentic Mexican food enthusiasts 😅) and have been looking for a legit Mexican restaurant to get tacos from. We definitely, finally found it! The atmosphere is inviting, the staff is so friendly, and most importantly the tacos are so so so good! We definitely will be back! Thank you to everyone who makes this place so great! I can't wait to try more stuff, and yet I can't wait to get the tacos again! I can't wait to try the pozole!
