I decided to go back simply for the taste of the matcha green tea frappe because it's so much better then Starbucks! Since the issue with Trinity there hasn't been anymore issues thankfully. In fact all the other girls have been very nice. The last time we went we were in drive thru for 30 minutes with one customer ahead of us. If we get there with no one in line we usually wait 15 minutes or so. I had tried to go here the last few times instead of Starbucks because I wanted to shop more local. My son liked the iced chai's there(I did not) and I liked the green tea frappes- again trying to stay away from big corporations! Unfortunately Trinity M.(manager) was really impatient and her customer service skills are really lacking. I had first told her I wanted 2 green tea frappes and some how it ended up she charges me for 2 iced teas that are green tea with a yogurt base(or something to that effect)because when I explained I wanted a green tea frappe cream based it got her confused? I have no idea- I was confused and then once charged I explained to her that I wanted the matcha she said repeatedly "that's what I asked you before". She was getting upset/frustrated with me. She said she could refund me my money (for the ice teas)and then charge me for the green tea frappes. I told her it's fine the way it was charged but after thinking about it I had to ring the bell twice for her to get back to me and told her I would just take a refund for the whole order. She refunded right away but if you really want to keep customers you'd try your best to make them happy. I wasn't rude or screaming or anything like that, but I guess thats what happens when you don't care about losing customers. It's really hard to deal with someone who seems like you're inconveniencing them- and we definitely wouldn't go back after that experience especially when it's management...
Read moreVisiting Sho Low this weekend and wanted to sample a local coffee spot. Right to the point the coffee is legit! Now for those that care, this place is that small town, very inviting coffee spot with personality! I originally was going to go thru the drive through but when I saw the interior look, I decided to go in. Glad I did. Everything from specialized doggie treats to cool T Shirts is available. Here is the kicker for me I love flavored coffees and latte's but prefer sugar free syrups. They did not disappoint.. (pay attention Starbucks) 12 not two options for sugar free and the coffee brew was solid. Oh and every coffee that was hot came with a chocolate covered espresso bean and that was a treat! I also purchased a double chocolate sourdough muffin.... And goodness in chocolate form is all I can say. They also had some mega sized sourdough bread packaged and ready to go. My wife ordered an iced chocolate mocha... She had a smile from ear to ear and said wow... She's a coffee snob so a wow from here is like a Michelin Star for a restaurant... And lastly the young lady working was informative about the area and was so kind at 630 am. She couldn't get the payment system to boot correctly and after a very short time of trying to get it to work she offered to comp my order. I told her don't worry, try again as I wanted to tip her well because she offered drink guidance and even offered into a great brunch spot in town... Well she tried three times and luckily I had 21 dollars on me so while it didn't leave me much to tip with considering the three coffees and muffin came out to 19. Dollars it wasn't going to allow me to tip her as well as what she for sure deserved. So service 5 star, value 5 stars and coffee 6 stars ! And fyi I will be going back to tip her accordingly because people need to appreciate good service and find the time to be a bit...
Read moreI’ve been to the pour station several times before, and I have had really good experiences, so I am not trying to come on here to be negative or bash on any local businesses I just hope this review helps them improve. Today, I ordered two drinks: one regular vanilla iced latte and one sugar-free chai with a shot of espresso. All was going well. The service was great (at first). I left the coffee shop before trying my drink and later realized that they made my vanilla iced latte with sugar-free vanilla, so I decided I would go back and, hopefully, get it fixed. The barista took back the drink and instead of remaking it, she just added regular sugar to it, which made it extremely sweet and completely undrinkable. I don’t understand why they would add more sugar to it - maybe they thought that sugar free syrup has no sweetness to it? So, I went back in a third time, defeated, and decided I would just pay for another drink to be made. I was then met with attitude even though I was paying for it. I gave them the bad drink (that was full) and kindly asked to have it thrown out. They made my new drink, which came out decent, but at that point, I felt very unwelcome in the store. While all of this was happening, the owner was standing right there! They did not try to understand the situation or help in any way. Overall, I just feel defeated and I don’t think that I will come back to this shop...
