We were looking for a place to eat for my hubby's bday, as his mom wanted to take him out, as well as myself and our two kids. I wanted the salad bar but saw there was a sign saying due to short staff it would close at 6:30, it was about 6: 10 maybe. The rude younger girl said it was already closed... even though the food was still set up and uncovered, ready to be eaten. After I realized that, I questioned another employee... she said it closes whenever they decide because they are short staffed, on labor day weekend. We were there about an hour and the salad bar was still up. While waiting for the food, I made a couple trips up to the counter for a plate and silverware... both people extremely rude, tossed me the items with sour looks on their face. They say they are short handed but there was about 12 people just in the kitchen alone... drinking their soda, talking and literally just standing there. The food was less than average, didn't bother taking pictures. Wings were on the undercooked side, no ice in soda machine, sprite tasted awful, games in game room just took your money. The worst part was the staff... while eating the mean faced girl was throwing chairs around, scraping tables along the floor and tossing plates and silverware... to the point it turned other customers heads. At one point someone yelled from kitchen across entire dining room to stop throwing things. EVERY employee had poor attitude, and customer service and no gratitude for their customers or respect for their job. WORST dining experience I have EVER encountered. It's a shame to spend 63$ on a bday meal for good experience and good food and family time and end up with a disaster of a dining experience. VERY disappointed... this place needs major help and a completely new crew. Been in food and customer service my whole life. This place was a disgrace. I try only writing nice reviews but can't find anything that was enjoyable here. There was one nice guy... the one who gave us our to go box. If there is that much lack of work ethic here that is seen, I can only imagine what that kitchen looks like and behind the scenes. Long Wongs highly suggested, even dominoes or little Caesars could do this. Won't be back... which I'm sorry to say. The enviornment was nice. ONLY thing I enjoyed...
Read moreI gave these guys multiple fair shots to prove that they truly cared about their customers. After tonight… Well, I really believe they don't care at all for customers. Every single time I have gone in they have messed up my order, even on simple ones that just add one additional topping. One of these two senecios plays out: *I am charged extra for toppings I order but they NOT on my pizza. Or *I order extra toppings, the front person correctly verifies, but the toppings are missing. Or there are toppings on the pizza that I did not order and the ones I did are missing.
Usually, my response was to eat it and move on if there are no allergens on it. But tonight I realized, ‘I paid almost $30 for this pizza. Over $30, if you include the tip’ (which they almost force you to do when you use a card). So for the first time I went up and mentioned it. The ticket was thrust in my face with the words, ‘you didn’t order garlic! But I can give you garlic even though it is not on the ticket.’ To which my response was, ‘don’t understand. I mentioned garlic and she repeated it back to me.’ ‘Do you want it or not?’ As if I was someone trying to get something for free.
I was already irritated since they messed up my order once that evening….(big surprise) and my husband felt awkward eating in front of me. After that response, I was furious! If it weren’t for my husband I would have given them the pizza back and told them I was done with eating pizzas that are different from what I order.
By the way, I said ‘no’ to the garlic and I never insisted that the comp the pizza they messed up. Nor have I ever demanded such a comp. So there was no excuse for me to be treated that way.
This was supposed to be our date night!
Long story short, I would rather get a cheap pizza from Dominos and be respected than to EVER go back to...
Read moreGoing to be a while before we come back.. We always come here to celebrate special occasions. We've been coming for year and years to celebrate any and everything. We love eating here, however this last experience left us a little hesitant about coming back so often.
We brought my little brother here to celebrate his 14th birthday yesterday. We order 2 family specials which comes with 8 drinks, 2 pizzas and 2 orders of bread sticks. The pizza was great as always, however, we never got our breadsticks. The issue wasn't about getting our breadsticks. The issue was about how the situation was handled. We went to the register and let them know our breadsticks never came out. A darker hair girl did apologize and let us know that they will work on that right away. After a minute or 2, a taller girl with glasses came out and asked us what did we do with our breadsticks? She proceeds to tell us that our order was made and asked us again what did we do with the breadsticks? We let her know that we never got them. Then, she told us that they made them.
Maybe it got taken to the wrong table? Or maybe they got bagged for a delivery? I'm not sure what happened, but after a little back and forth with the server, she said she is going to make more. Her attitude about the situation is what stuck with us the most. We let her know if it was going to be an issue or a hassle then, don't worry about making them.
She turned around and said "I guess it's our fault, we will make them"
We got them to go, cause at that point we were finished eating.
This was my brother's choice of places to eat on his birthday, and with this experience, it kind of soured the celebration.
Mistakes happen, but how they are handled is really what...
