Cheng's Garden — Restaurant in Shreveport

This restaurant really knows what they are doing. I absolutely love eating here at every chance I get, but not as often as I would like to because I'm always out of town working. They really take the time to make sure you get fresh quality sushi and the way they amazingly plate it makes you not want destroy it lol. I've also tried other menu items that come hot and fresh and at a timely manner. You couldn't ask for better service either. Our drinks stay full and they are always there at the right time to assist or explain anything to you. The restaurant is so beautiful and super clean. I have brought family and friends here that are also now believers in this place being the best Asian food in town and definitely the best sushi in town. I was also delighted to see our Shreveport Mayor Adrian Perkins in there ordering takeout, shows even he has great taste lol..I will continue to bring my business here and will continue to spread the word on how great this place is to everyone who wants to enjoy such fine dining at great affordable prices. I couldn't ask for better food and keep up the good work and thanks to all of you for my great experiences !!! Y'all deserve more...

I have ordered food from here through Waitr multiple times. The food is awesome. I'm never disappointed. But after dining in and eating at the restaurant, I will never do it again. Customer service is terrible. Our waitress was very rude. She was more worried about talking to the people she knew sitting in her section than checking in us. She was also very attentive to her big top, but didn't pay any mind to us. Funny because we all do or have worked in the service industry for years and tip very well. She forgot to put my niece's order in, she's 2. After everyone got their food except her, I asked 2 different people about it and they all just blew me off. We finally got her food, in a to go box, at the same time as our check. Also when a friend of ours ordered beer, she kept putting the beer down right in front of my niece. She never pre bussed or decluttered our table of empty glasses and plates. So having 5 people at one small table got crowded pretty quick. Every time our server spoke to us she was rude and very short with us and huffed and puffed. Moral of the story is, eat Cheng's, but eat it in the comfort of...

I’m extremely proud of myself. Going here i was super hungry because i hadn’t eaten all day. After reading the reviews i was excited about going here. The service was great. The waiters were great and it seemed to be pretty clean. The food on about hand was a different story. I ordered cucumber rolls and beef and broccoli. The cucumber rolls came with no sauce. It was okay, just very bland. The beef and broccoli were another story. The veggies were cooked well but you can tell the gravy was cooked with oil and just terribly made. It was water downed and the after taste was horrendous. Idk what kinda of meat they use but it indeed was NOT beef. and the fact that it was over $20 was crazy.
