I recently moved here a few months ago for school. I was excited to have Cane's for lunch/dinner because it reminds me of home. However, when I go to the drive through I am always met with some attitude or some apathetic tone that makes it feel very unwelcoming. I have given this place a few tries to give everyone the benefit of the doubt but it seems it's just the same bad people at the drive through. Specifically, Jada (short one), Jada (regular size one), and sometimes this older lady that I have heard them call "miss T." It has got to the point where I now prefer to get my meals inside the store rather than to deal with the drive though negative energy.
Sometimes I even just drive to the Bossier location when this location looks packed/busy because the personalities in the drive through just aren't worth my time, and I do not want to deal with them if they are ever taking dine in/togo orders over the counter.
Inside the store I sometimes feel welcomed and my order is taken promptly without any attitude or aggression. I would even give it a 5 star in the atmosphere category. It is just sad to see some nice and good working people be stuck with some rotten apples. For example, the other month one of the leads/assistant managers "Lexi" (or perhaps Lex) was just sitting in the booth talking to someone while the other staff not mentioned in this review were hustling and working hard serving their costumers. That is not what a good leader should do. I have also seen some workers pick up the slack of other's in order to keep business going and I hope they do not drive themselves crazy doing that because that is just bad management.
Overall, if these bad apples changed their personalities this place would be great to come eat after...
Read moreAsked for naked tenders , being that there was only ONE car in front me , I didn’t expect it to take long . I waited at the window just for them to tell me to pull into a parking spot , told it would be 3 minutes , okay . I pull into a parking spot and wait 7 more minutes , mind you , I have to pick my son up from school and I have a newborn in the car and my air just went out as we were on the way there . After 7 minutes , I call , because not 1 singular vehicle is in sight . Says it’ll be another 3 minutes (obviously their 3 minutes is not 3 minutes) , that I can leave if needed and come back to get it . So I leave to go get my son (surprise RUINED , I was trying to surprise him with canes since it’s Friday and he’d been talking about it all week) . We get back to canes , in the terribly hot car , I send my son in because I refuse to leave my kids in the car even for a minute and don’t want to get the baby out when she’s already terribly overstimulated from this entire process … they send him with no drinks . All they had to do is look at the receipt!!!!!! Then send him with 2 cups. So nobody could make our drinks that should’ve already been made ??? Long story long … I worked in the food industry many times . The food would’ve been waiting on the customers , as soon as they pulled into mobile I would’ve been aware , chicken would’ve been dropped as soon as I heard a call back , I would’ve apologized for the wait or even refunded them for the confusion . You don’t know what people are dealing with - be courteous. Respect people’s time as you’d want them to respect yours . Canes managers need to get...
Read moreI eat at this Cane's often and have never had a problem until Tuesday, November 23rd. I was eating in with a group of people and the whole group wasn't there yet, so we were waiting in the restaurant for the rest of our party before ordering. We weren't holding up the line or causing any harm by waiting, so we were a little confused when one of the employees asked "Are y'all going to order anything or are you just going to stand there?" We politely informed them that we were just waiting for a couple more people. We tried to be understanding, but a few minutes later a male employee came from the kitchen and once again asked "Are y'all going to order anything or not? It's just chicken, not that complicated." Now, mind you he was a teenager saying this to three teenagers, but it was extremely rude. We had been there for less than five minutes and had reason to wait. We went ahead and ordered despite our group not being there and it took a ridiculous amount of time for him to take our orders despite his earlier rushing. The food and the rest of the meal was fine but honestly there was no reason for the employees to be that rude. Never been more disappointed, and I'm really not one to write...
