On May 19th I ordered an Ultimate Meat & Cheese Burrito Combo. I will never return to this location again. I've spent from May 19th to May 22nd trying to recover from it. I should have been clued in when I saw the lack of cars parked at the drive-ins or in the drive-thru but I thought nothing of it. Typically this place is packed around that time period. So my food comes out and I notice my burrito had a LOT of eggs and little meat. But it "seemed" fresh. When I had eaten down a quarter of the burrito I took a bite and it was absolutely revolting. I immediately spit it out. You could tell it was a rotten egg, not only by the taste, but the horrendous smell that began to fill my vehicle. My drink was no short of just water with color in it and I ordered a flavored tea. The only thing that was right was the order of tater tots. How in God's name can you stand at a grill and actually cook up a rotten egg? The tell-tale sign is the horrendous smell the minute you crack the egg. Sometimes the egg itself is discolored, sometimes it may not be. But a sure sign it's bad is the smell. I don't even want to imagine what cross contamination could have came after that for whatever else was cooked on that grill. If the egg smelled bad and you suspected it was rotten you should have trashed what your were cooking. Not continue to cook it and send it out to a customer. I would much rather been told "there's an issue" and it would have to be remade or asked to choose something else on the menu. I used to love this location but I'm steering clear. Read moreI went to this location and many of the screens were not working and so when it came up to add a tip you couldn't press anything because they didn't work. I contacted the manager David Collins which his name, picture and number is on the screens if there was any problems. I feel like he is a condescending small person that doesn't seem to really care about his employees and when you mention solutions or workarounds to a problem, he became a smart-ass and then got aggressive on the phone and didn't want to listen to a customer essentially. Mentioning that the employees are missing out on potential extra money, he just really didn't seem to care. It seemed like as he became what he believed in intellectual smart ass with a customer when presented with potential solutions or something that might help the situation. Even went on to say they've been aware of this problem and they're working on fixing it. I mentioned I'll check on it next week and he said wow that's not going to happen. So another week of punishing his employees and being a smart-ass if you bring it up that this might be poor management. So if the gentleman is wondering why there's so many bad reviews that I've seen at this location, maybe sticking up for the employee and doing the right thing and not being a smart-ass to customers and rude would help the situation. Read moreThere are around 15 Sonics in the Shreveport/Bossier area and this one is easily in the bottom 3 along with the Mansfield rd sonic and E kings sonic. The only plus is that it is one of the sonics that doesn't close until 12, but that is the only plus. Ordering food is a nightmare because you can't hear what the worker is saying because of all of the other co-workers in the background screaming at each other over the mic, and the person taking the order can barely hear you either. I had to literally SCREAM at the intercom and he still couldn't understand what I said. I screamed at the top of my lungs "VANILLA MILKSHAKE!" ...."Um, sir did you say Dr. Pepper?"..."NO!! VANILLA MILKSHAKE!!"...."Sir, I can barely hear you it still sounds like Dr. Pepper" ugh...."VANNNIIILLLAAAAA MIILLLLKSSSHHHAAKKEEE!!!!!!!" ..."oh you want a shake ok got it" brings me out the wrong shake....... I got a number 2 with tater tots and a shake for the drink. Every single part of the order I got was wrong. The burger was missing everything it was just patties and cheese, they gave me fries instead of tots, and the wrong shake, and honestly I'm very lenient like it wouldn't be that big of a deal but my GOD the food was horrible, like easily some of the worst sonic food I've ever had the burger made me want to throw up, the fries were nasty and the shake didn't taste right at all.
