Waffle House — Restaurant in Shreveport

The service here has severely deteriorated or the wrong people just so happened to be on shift when I decided to take out. So today ( May 8, 2025 @ abt 7:30ish) I go in to place a to-go order. I listened to the cashier read out my order to the cook. When I receive my order, my bacon is burned damn near to a crispy black, I have no hard fried egg on top of my philly cheesesteak bowl or two extra toasts for my steak dinner as requested. So while I'm talking to the cashier about my order, the cook has made his way to the back and is washing up dishes. She calls out to him twice about the incorrect order and tells him that a ustomer is waiting.....he's still in the back at the sink washing dishes. About 6-10 minutes later, he wheels his cart and clean dishes back to the cooking area, apologies for the errors to the order and proceeds to correct part of the order. Meanwhile, the remainder of the order is getting cold and when he remakes the order, it's still incorrect. At this point, I tell the cashier this order is still wrong, I have to get out of here, I'd been waiting almost an hour for my order. Had the absolute worst experience!! I would give 0 stars if I could. Our waitress Ruby was very rude,... We waited for at least 15 minutes even before she even acknowledged our presence.Took our orders and was not at least helpful, came back with our drinks and literally shoved them at us and informed us that they were out of straws and she would go find her on for us she never did she went back behind the counter and sat down. We waited at least 15 minutes even before she brought us our food and when she brought us our food, it was wrong which then she acknowledged that they were for the table next to us She then went and sat down at the counter. After that when she brought my husband's food she looked at me and said yours will be ready in a few minutes.. she then sat back down! ... it wasn't until I kind of looked at her then she decided to get up from her sitting position at the counter to go get my food.... When she brought us our food she stated not to upset the boss on 4th of July about our complaint basically!! This being said we will never ever step foot in that waffle House ever again it has to be the absolute worst experience we have ever had in...

The staff was so swamped with plenty of guest so I decided to help clean tables and greet customers because no workers was available to do it…so when I did I was loudly and rudely told to stop and sit down then the manager turned around and started back leaning on the prep board where she only did toast and waffles then lean again .. I told the waitress the floor was filthy and disgusting to site as I tried to eat my food she just laughed and said oh she the manager pointing out the lady who just rudely addressed me helping a community of people who was standing around waiting to be addressed and or served out of 6people walking on the same egg shells rotten meat and water puddles every where in the prep area I sat 1hr and a .1/2 no one swept the floor or mopped ..so then I asked to take hasbrowns home to find a fly in my food uncooked. I hate I tipped I hate I ate I hate I visited worst service ever feeding people elbows dead skin leaning on the prep...
