Last Friday I went to this restaurant for the first time and the funniest thing was that while I was in line I noticed a notification on the glass encouraging you to give 5 stars on Google review and you get 2 falafel. When reading this note, you imagine that the service would be at least good or perhaps above and beyond, as they try to earn a 5 star review. I placed my order where I only had a beef/falafel gyro, I said that I would start eating there, but that I would need a container to go, because I wouldn't be able to finish the entire sandwich. With much reluctance, the person gave me a container without the cover and asked one more time for the cover and the staff response was that: they shouldn't give away that container to go because it is expensive and that normally the sandwich for to go is only wrapped in aluminum foil. I said I don't mind paying for the container. The staff didn't say anything else. They didn't even give me a napkin and the napkin was not available for the customer to take and as I had already received terrible service from the staff, I decided not to ask for anything else and took a bite of the sandwich and left. I don't believe I'll be returning to this place anytime soon. Maybe in a year I'll give it another chance. The sandwich was very tasty and the price is worth it. Just need to improvement on customer service, training...
Read moreTo be honest, disappointed. . Their motto says “ We are different “ , I say NO ! For street themed chain. . Ambience - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service - ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️ Quality - ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Quantity- ⭐️⭐️ . There regular platter, which really looks good, is is $12 plus taxes, ie approx 13$. For 13$ you’re getting a good salad. The protein content is very minimal. There is lots of lettuce, tomatoes, and rice.. you should be paying not more than 6$, and especially your whole resturant theme is street style food. . I had food in the restaurant, because there are so many reviews which said the food is cold. Even in the restaurant the meat is not super hot. It is just warm so I guess when it is transported, it gets really cold soon. . No coming to the side toppings. The pricing on them is on the expensive end. A small tablespoon of hummus is charged 1.29 $ , rest of the Topping are charged at $.50 each. . Coming to the meat, I felt it was just cooked. And spices in both the chicken and the beef were reasonable but a bit more cooking on the doner could have made the meat better. From what I noticed the boy who working on the doner, definitely needs more skill. There is another guy in the flat grill , he definitely knew what he was doing. . I definitely won’t be back since there are more shops in Worcester offering more value for money rather than brand...
Read moreDidn’t seem like the rice was cooked. Soda machine has only soda option, nothing different (and limited), pita breads seemed to be cooked over meat (I’m vegetarian), Nickle and dimed for basic add ons, in white city but parking was tight for the front lots (not their fault). The manager seemed to be problematic when I used a coupon and even was confronting the employee on the price while I was at the register and blaming her for doing something wrong. Hummus seemed bland too.
Honestly unimpressed. A nice entrepreneur story - but the falafel bowl wasn’t great in my opinion and was mostly rice. I don’t think the franchises stand up to the hype.
They did have lots of employees cooking and working but overall seemed a bit mismanaged . One employee was relatively nice; however.
Had a similar experience in Boston (first time) with a rude employee at this location. Bad food, bad service.
Contacted support and they did nothing and wasted my time. Do yourself a favor and go to the Worcester public market or Kelly square medeteranian places.
