We really need more restaurants in Sidney, and as much as we love the Victor's in Springfield, this place was a huge disappointment on our first visit. We went on a week night around 8. I ordered the Chimichanga and my wife ordered a tostada. I asked if the chimi was grilled or shredded chicken. Kid taking our order wasn't sure, but he asked the guy in the kitchen, came back and said I could get either one. I ordered the grilled chicken. What he didn't tell me, and what I didn't find out until we got the bill, was its $2.25 more for the grilled chicken. Why wouldn't he tell me that BEFORE I ordered it? They also charged $1.25 more for grilled chicken on a tostada. Nothing on the menu indicating additional charges for grilled vs shredded chicken. My wife took one bite of her tostada. She said the shell on the bottom was too hard, so I tried a bite and it was completely inedible... ROCK HARD. She took her meal back up to the counter and the kid had to ask the only other person working there, the cook in the back, and he said that's how they make them. She then asked if they could just put those same toppings on a soft tortilla for her... kid again had to ask the guy in the back, and he refused....said they didn't have soft tortillas. So what was my chimi wrapped in?? They just gave her a refund. No offer to make another plate for her or accommodate her request for something more edible. My Chimi was so bland, no hint of spice or flavor. Even the tiny bit of Pico de Gallo had zero heat. Rice was all clumped together, flavorless, and the beans were below average at best. The Victor's in Springfield had a salsa bar with several types of delicious salsa, including a terrific guacamole salsa. Not here. This Victor's location missed the mark all the way around. Beware that even small bottles of soda are $2.50. No fountain drinks, no cups of water (only bottles), no napkins, no condiments in the tiny dining area, plastic silverware (only flimsy spoons and forks, NO KNIVES), makes it impossible to cut into a fried Chimichanga without plastic shrapnel breaking off, getting stuck somewhere in the the food. Hoping Victor will get this place turned around, or it is destined to fail. We miss the Senegalese restaurant that used to...
Read moreOrdered 5 tacos. And got 4 and a half. Ordered a Taco bowl with just cheese,chicken.. it's wrong every time.. use to like them when they first came here. Starting to short you on everything. Hardly any meat in the 5th taco. Starting to be common. I worked in huber heights when they started it's first restaurant in ohio, it was great. Service was great. Now that it's growing. Profit seems to be the thing over Service...
Read moreI really enjoyed the food at this restaurant. The kid working the cash register was VERY helpful and friendly. Advising on things he liked as it was our first time. I do plan on going back I just wish it had a bigger dining room. I know this is fast food but it could easily complete with other Mexican restaurants in the area. Maybe an area to eat outside during the...
