Urban Axe Yard — Restaurant in Sierra Vista

So, full disclosure, I've never thrown axes or ordered a drink at Urban Axe Yard. But, this is a great place to play pinball! First of all, the staff is super friendly. I come here about once a month to play the pins, sometimes even less than that, and yeah I have an unusual name (maybe it makes it easier to remember) but to be greeted by name when I walk in is just way cool. For real, everyone who works here is very chill and nice.

Most importantly, the pinball games here are maintained in EXCELLENT condition. They work exactly as they should in every way, which makes it very fun to play pinball at Urban Axe Yard. And during the time I've been playing pinball here they've made constant improvements like adding a TV for the Stern Insider Connected leaderboard, adding new games (just got King Kong: Myth of Terror Island recently), adding a change machine, and now have built out a whole separate game room for the pins and pool tables.

At this time they've got 10 pinball games including Foo Fighters, Metallica Remastered, Pulp Fiction and others. You can see the exact current lineup on the Pinball Map app. As a pinball fanatic who lives in Tucson, all the best spots to play that have a cool vibe - games in good condition - a good lineup of titles - require a drive like Atomic Age Modern in Mesa, Electric Bat Arcade in Tempe and Catalina Brewing Company in Marana. Urban Axe Yard in Sierra Vista is among the best places to play pinball in the area. It's worth the drive...

This is like the 5th or 6th time I’ve come and I can’t stop coming!! This place is so much fun!! The staff are always very friendly and the environment is just a blast to be in! We’ve done date night, birthdays, and just coming to blow off steam and every time we leave smiling and feeling great! 10/10!!!

5/18/24 Once again a hell of a good time ax throwing!!! We always have a blast!! Tonight we were celebrating our beautiful friend and her new found freedom ✨ Matt was super awesome and showed us a bunch of new games. This place is always a blast and we can’t wait...

First time coming here last night (08/05) and my friends & I had so much fun throwing axes! Trevor was SUPER HELPFUL throughout the whole night. He was constantly checking on us making sure we were good with drinks. Most importantly- he gave us so many tips as we were axe throwing to help us improve our throws! The experience was fun but the customer service was exceptional! Thank you Trevor for making my and my fiancé’s first visit a great one!
