I was here shopping, and one of the items were damaged so I had asked if I could get a discount because the top of the container that I had purchased was damaged and she told me no why would I give you a discount when we're already a discounted store. The only time we give discount is if something is cracked and broken. so I went back to go look one more time to make sure that there wasn't another one and there was one on the ground which looked better so I asked if I could exchange these to MJ and she flicked her finger to go to the next register at me and then proceeded to talk about me to another customer because I had asked her to not talk to me or treat me that way as a customer. And she proceeded to tell the other customer about me saying that she will not treat a customer nicely if they're not nice when, I was clearly talking to her asking her if I could exchange an item because I found a better conditioned one. She is absolutely rude. I don't know if she's grouchy because it's 9 PM on a Sunday but definitely not how customer service should be. For her to be talking to another customer about me and the lack of disrespect is unbelievable and it’s happening in front of me. Read moreThe manager Julie was incredibly disrespectful and beyond unprofessional. I was there just a few hours ago, and lost my debit cards as well as my ID. I called and asked the woman that answered if anyone turned it in. She then said 'let me as my boss'. The manager gets on the phone with a sarcastic irritated tone, ' no, nobody's turned your stuff in. ' so I politely asked if she could please take my name and number down, incase anyone finds it tomorrow. She just said ' no. You can call tomorrow if you want to, and check. ' ... after a few moments of silence, I said ' uhm okay. ' expecting her to give me some sort of decent customer service or humor me even a little bit. Just by taking my info. She followed up with, ' I can't guarantee anyone will even call you, so no'. I responded with ' wow, well alright then. ' she responded with a sarcastic high pitch valley girl tone ' okay' and the call ended. I've worked in customer service as a manager for 13 years. Never would I ever condone or provide others with such disgraceful service. I have purchased plenty of items (and unique items) for myself and as gifts. During the different Holidays Home goods store brings out an array of items to choose from, Home good store is ever changing so you never know what you'll see from one week to the next If you find something you like buy it then because you may miss out! As far as customer service, employees seem polite although not fully knowledgeable, I feel its due to the changing of merchandise so often.
