Located in the parking lot behind the Simsbury Historical Society *...I had the good fortune of meeting Mike one of the food truck owners. He was kind super friendly and a helpful guide to his delicious food. My heritage is about as far as you can get from Caribbean. I thoroughly enjoyed the jerk pork, rice and beans, and sweet plantains. I didn't expect to like the plantains so I was surprised that they were very good. We just had our first meal at Flavors and it won’t be our last! Mike knows how to sell it and Dee knows how to cook it. The mild jerk pork was amazing. It had the perfect flavor I didn’t even know I was looking for. Complimented with the fried sweet plantains and a big serving of yellow rice, i couldn’t have asked for anything more. I left full and satisfied and couldn’t stop talking about it on the ride home. Highly recommended for anyone looking for something new. My wife and I stopped here today on a whim during a long bike ride and it was great. We took it to go and ate at the nearby Flower Bridge park. I got the roasted beef sandwich and my wife had pulled chicken. Both looked so beautiful, the lovely ladies nearby asked us where we got it. I also got the rice & beans, which were cooked perfect. My wife had the lemonade with strawberry - that seemed pricey, but it was very good. They take Apple Pay & Google Pay and all sorts of stuff, so great if you are out with only your phone. Bottles...
