My mother and I have occasionally been dropping by The Coffee Spot over that last few months. We are Simsbury residents and enjoy heading out of town usually to try all different types of coffee spots.
We have been to Starbucks (all in the area), Dom's (Avon), Sophia's (WeHa) and J. Renee Coffee Roasters amongst many others. As for the coffee The Coffee Spot takes 1st prize. The quality of the coffee beans are exceptional. Blending mastery and sensory elevation are at award winning levels.
The atmosphere inside this old Victorian house is beyond charming. I love the library area to the left when you first walk in. The dog collage is amazing. I lost the love of my life on April 18 and it saddens me we could have come inside this place while Bella was still alive. Would have loved to add her pic.
I lived in NYC for years and so far The Coffee Spot is one of if not the best we have experienced. Like other reviews mentioned there is parking across the street or in the back if on street is not available. Hopefully our experiences will stay five star! Highly...
Read moreGORGEOUS SPACE, FRIENDLY STAFF & GREAT COFFEE IN THE CENTER OF TOWN! The perfect spot for a relaxing respite from your hectic day, to get together with friends, or to get some work done! I’ve been a few times, and I especially love how each room offers a totally different vibe. There is the front reading room with oversized, comfy leather chairs and books to borrow that offers a more sophisticated feel. The backroom is bright and colorful with a gorgeous Simsbury mural, Adirondack chairs, and plenty of counter space for working (free WiFi). The front dining room is more traditional, with tables to easily put together for small or large groups. There is seating outside on the front porch, and plans to expand more outdoor seating. Super friendly staff and, most importantly, delicious coffee and...
Read moreI have been to this gem almost everyday and have never been disappointed!! I’ve tried everything from cookies, bars and scones (you don’t have to eat gluten free to adore the GF molasses spice cookies holy cow!), wraps and today the sandwich special. It was a fresh mozzarella, baby spinach and tomato sandwich on a toasted ciabatta with a balsamic glaze. How can we get this onto the regular menu?? It was delicious. And lastly, the one thing I haven’t strayed from is my coffee choice (had both iced and hot) and that is The Sweet Spot. I get mine with oat milk and it’s just the perfect mix of espresso and cinnamon and a touch of sweetness. Come visit and sit in the book room for some quiet reading with a cup of coffee or outside or in, tables are socially distanced,...
