I think that some of the lower reviews on here are for previous restaurants in this same spot. I went to Winged Bear today with two of my kids. The staff was very accommodating. I had the Cobb salad and it was very fresh, with a beautiful presentation. I ordered it with balsamic vinaigrette. I am picky about my balsamic, and this one is just right. The specialty pies are a mix of favorites you might look for, along with some more imaginative ones. My son proclaimed his BBQ chicken, mango, and jalapeno pizza the best pizza he has ever had, and we have tried a lot of places. My daughter doesn't like pizza with red sauce, and there was a larger and more varied choice of white pies here than I have seen elsewhere. She loved her chicken pesto pizza and the pesto was really fresh. The prices seem very competitive for the local area, and the food far surpasses a nearby competitor. I really liked the decor, which was simple blue-grey with tin ceilings. Easy, ample parking behind the building. They have outdoor seating, chef specials, a good wine list and several craft beers on tap. It looks as though to they may have live music occasionally, so I look forward to returning with my husband in...

Just left there after just about an hour of waiting for our food. Our mistake was not just getting up and leaving before the food came out. I ordered a sandwich, which was wet, yes wet. I lifted the top peice of bread and the piece of cheese underneath was completely water logged and the water from the cheese was soaking into the bread. The five onion rings that they had the nerve to charge extra money for, which were room temperature at best what a joke. The wait staff didn't come out one time in the forty five minutes we were waiting for our food to say anything as to why it was taking so long. After the food came out our waitress didn't even bother to come to our table one time, to check and see if we needed anything, ie: more water, or to see how the food was. The only redeeming quality of this place was the pizza that my boyfriend ordered. He, thankfully, had a...

This was my 1st time ever getting anything from Winged Bear. Based on the Cobb salad I ordered online, I'm excited to try other things! I requested the lemon vinaigrette dressing and extra of it on the side, which they both were :). This vinaigrette is excellent because it has a sweetness which offsets nicely against the blue cheese and bacon, in particular.

I really loved everything about this Cobb salad: all the ingredients were fresh with the cucumber, tomato, crumbled blue cheese, bacon finely chopped, the avocado and chicken nicely sliced, and the hard boiled egg halved - so easy to enjoy without having to cut it all up first. In particular I also want to note that the romaine lettuce did not have any browned eggs and was primarily green which I prefer to the whiter part. Additionally I want to note how tender and flavorful and real the sliced...

First time sitting down here with family - we never visited when under the Attilio's or Apollo's name. The waitress, Riga, let us know that the name changed when the former head chef's contract expired some months ago. It is a shame that we were one of three seated groups the entire restaurant, because the service and food were fantastic. We had one order of the Spicy Prosciutto pie and one of the Italian Sausage pie, a Fried Calamari starter along with wine and draft Peroni, all of which were served promptly to order. We'll definitely be back for sit-downs and take out. Four Stars for now - I'll be happy to change my rating after some additional visits!

Amazing pizza, I doubt I'll be going anywhere else for pizza for a long time. Edit: my first review was from late 2021 and the pizza was amazing. But lately, in the last few months, the pizza quality seems to be far less - to the point where I think we'll need to find a new place. Here is a large pizza I ordered with peppers and hamburger. Ingredients are sparse and scattered and the pizza tastes undercooked. Sad to have to edit this review. Edit2: decided to try this again a couple years later (sept 2025). Ordered two grinders. Both came barely toasted, soggy and missing toppings. Guess I'll put em aside for a few more years and see what happens.

Ordered from a delivery app the food came full of grease soaked through the bag dripped all over my counters all over my hands didn’t get the sauce on the side that I asked for there was barely any food in there. A single order of chicken piccata cost me $30 With tip. I have gotten it many times and it’s been wonderful. I don’t know if they have new staff or new cooks, but this was utterly ridiculous. Not to mention. I waited an hour and 15 minutes to get it never again unfortunately the second letdown I’ve had from them. They did refund my money and extended apologies but the food was so greasy. It wasn’t even edible.
