Bergie's Bar — Restaurant in Sioux City

Bergie's is truly an awesome bar to go to. Amazing atmosphere! HOWEVER, the older female bartender is HORRIBLE!!! ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! She literally refused to SPEAK to people. Dead serious. She walked up and pointed at you. I asked for a Coors Banquet, she handed me a seltzer. I told her I asked for a beer. She flipped me off and walked away. Never took the seltzer back and I never paid. Left it on the bar and went back to my friends to dance. Went later and asked the male bartender with the beard for a beer, got what I asked for, and he actually SPOKE to me! We went out for my friend's 21st birthday and the bouncer checked our id's & let us in. The lady who was bartending didn't believe that my friend's real Illinois ID wasn't a fake and called over another guy who proceeded to kicked us out. We asked what was wrong with her REAL ID & he shrugged and said he can't tell if it's real. The ID wasn't expired and they wouldn't take another form of ID. My friend was really upset because it was her actual 21st birthday and the workers handled this horribly. Will never go here again and will tell all my friends not to come...

I am really disappointed in my visit here. We went here for my friend's birthday to do karaoke and we went to the bar to order a drink. The bartender asked my friend what she wanted to drink and she began telling him only to get assaulted by him grabbing her birthday hat and pulling it off her head and saying "you're not the only customer in here" then he began to yell repeatedly in front of everyone into a bull horn.
