There are certain restaurants that you keep going back to out of convenience, and this is one of them for me. The food is normally below average, and the customer service is hit or miss. And I'm not talking waiting in line, because that I have the patience and understanding for. I'm talking about interaction with customers. There is one individual that comes to mind when I think of customer service, and I feel bad that I don't have a way to describe him other than that he has a disability and has some type of deformation in his arms. Anyway, every time he is taking payment, he is just cold and rude. And it's not just an "off day," which everyone has sometimes. It's literally every time. He'll get payment, I say thank you, have a good day, or any kind of kind response, and I just get a blank stare. And he doesn't not hear me either, I can tell. And lord help us if you have to ask him a question or want him to scan your app; he makes you feel like you're such an inconvenience. In my opinion, if you don't like the public, you should find a job that better suits you. You should really have someone that likes people being the first interaction your customers have at the window.
Another thing, although small....my son has been ordering a Hamburger with nothing but Mayo on it. I've been getting charged .30 to add Mayo. Really, McDonalds? .30 for a squirt of Mayo? Not to mention that we do not get the Ketchup, Mustard, Pickle, onion...soooo really I am saving you money. Not that I can't afford another .30, it's just a silly concept, and silly to charge customers extra for.
Between the shotty customer service, the dining room STILL being closed after two years into Covid, and the line being shut down to one lane almost all day every day, this isn't my first...
Read moreI arrive and drive up is full. Not just full but for some reason someone thought that two lane drive ups were a great idea. So to cut through the wait in my car I went inside. Perfect not very busy inside. There was a couple people waiting so figured this will be faster than the drive up. Well wrong! After 10 minutes a girl final comes to the register takes one order for a coffee, then leaves. I am thinking great I am next. As I am waiting for another 10 minutes more people come in and they notice no one is taking orders. I said to a lady I am unfortunately going to have to be that guy. So a people are 8 deep in lobby I final raise my voice and ask the lady I think is in charge and say "hey do we all need to go through the drive up to place an order?" She very unprofessionally turns to all of us saying "hey we are having a problem over here so will get to all of you as soon as we can". No I am sorry, no immediate thanks for waiting, nothing but a lecture. A lot of us being 50 and above we shocked by her response. She may have been frustrated but in no way should she ever try to lecture customers. Thankfully the good was fine but as for service Mc Donald's it's lacking big-time. I would concentrate on less drive up lanes and figure out how to get orders taken and food properly served. I truly think they weren't talking walk in orders because the company in all their wisdom monitors time from order to time served so if they don't rush to take an order that are not on the clock that ownership can monitor. Will learn not to go there unless drive up is empty along with parking lot. I at least have a...
Read moreMy husband and I ordered the hotcakes and sausage a couple weeks ago. We get home with no syrup or butter for our order. Thank goodness we had syrup at home. We go through the drive up this morning 01/26/24 and we order 2 orders of hotcakes and sausage and I ordered an extra syrup which cost $0.50. We get to the window and I explained to the employee that I never received any syrup on our last order and asked her to put in an extra syrup since we paid for it last time and didn’t get it. She rolled her eyes went to the back kitchen and then came back and said there are already 3 in your bag. I said yes I know but we paid for it and I would like the one we paid for last time and didn’t get. She just rolled her eyes and said there are 3 in your bag and I could hear someone yelling from the kitchen there are 3 in your bag!! I finally drove off frustrated got home and found no napkins in my bag. I try to look for an email to email the manager but could not find one. I rarely leave a bad review but apparently they don’t care enough to provide an easy way to contact them. Don’t think I will be back even though the location is convenient. Prices go up but service goes down....
