Used to be good, but this place is filthy, ran by lazy children and serves sub par ingredients. I've seen food trucks with cleaner spaces. Last time i stopped by, i was a bit disenchanted with the young lady that seemed to be more interested in her phone than making sure our order was taken correctly (NO ONIONS!). While i waited i started to wander with my eyes and noticed the grease stains, shoddy setup and even saw a cockroach scurry under the shelf and this was in the middle of winter..terrible! I paid for my order, but never ate it and will NEVER return.
There are SEVERAL other places to get a better burrito in Sioux Falls, and you don't have to go to the homeless shelter to get a good one at a fair price. I also once saw staff throw the garbage out the back door and only about half of the broken bag made it in the dumpster...the rest slopped onto the ground and smelled like rotten meat and grease.
Shame on you,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is a great spot for truly authentic Mexican tacos in Sioux Falls. I had been a couple times during the pandemic, and on a recent visit to Sioux Falls I thought I would try it again (subsequent to actually living in Mexico). It did not disappoint! There are a variety of meats to choose from, pastor, carnitas, chicken, steak, etc, and if you prefer a burrito or a torta those options are available also. I three tacos, a chicken, a pastor (marinated pork), and carnitas. I would say that chicken and the pastor were great, but the carnitas is maybe not their strong suit - overall though, the tacos were delicious and about as original as you can get this far north of the border. Prices are also extremely reasonable. Another must try in Sioux FallsOn Mondays (and maybe certain other days of the week) they close at 3, so keep that in mind if...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI love authentic Mexican food and saw some good reviews here for this restaurant so I was exited to try it. The service was terrible. Nobody spoke English so ordering is difficult. The food was not fresh but dried out. I got a burrito and some stale rice. They put the burrito together and then popped the whole thing in the microwave to heat it up??? It was bland and tasteless. I had to slather it in hot sauce to get any flavor. I was very disappointed. I figure anyone can have an off day, so I have gone back two more times with the same results: terrible service and bland stale food. Why all the good reviews? I can only assume something has changed for the worse. It was obvious from the sign above the counter where you order that they have changed their prices and it is definitely not a good value even if you don't consider the poor...
