Manna Bakery — Restaurant in Sioux Falls Township

I had an incredible experience with this bakery and its owner. I went looking for an authentic Mexican bakery to supply dessert for a family get together and I’m so pleased I came across Manna. I stood out very obviously, but I was greeted by friendly people. It’s a very tight space, but i was impressed by not only the large selection of fresh baked goods, but groceries and home essentials, too. As I expected, Spanish was the primary language spoken in the business, which I was prepared for, but the owner spoke to me in excellent English, which was very reassuring and accommodating! He helped me place my order, which they made FRESH for me specifically, since I did place a larger order (30 pastries) I was given a reasonable wait time - only about a half hour and when I returned, not only did the owner bless me with a slight discount, but he included a few other pastries for me to try! This store tried to scam me into buying their small cake for $40. I have order couple times before in this store for only $30 for the small cake which isn’t even worth it but few of my loved ones liked it although the cake never looked like how I wanted even after sending them a picture of how it should be. The lady that tried to scam me into buying the cake said “no we always sell $40 for small” ended the call right there saying they’re a liars for lying to a customer. They also sell the expired cakes in those little containers. I bought once and tried it, it smelled terrible and gave me a stomach...

1. I went here on a recommendation for "tres-leches" cake and the cake I got was FAR from tres-leches and far from good (More later).
2. This place is TINY and packed with people sending money overseas. So there is no room to stand or even "Shop" without bumping into anyone.
3. The service IS the only redeeming quality as the owner on site checks in with each person when they arrive.

The cake was decorated like a birthday cake and was DRY. I think this cake was NO-Leche cake. It owed milk.

You would be hard pressed to find anything in this place unless you live across the street and...
